Airbrushed the basic with Humbrol 'Desert Sand' with a layer of Vallejo's 'Middle Stone' to get a richer German 'Dunkelgelb'. This will be toned down when I weather, stain and shade the model.

The goal of this image was to convey the feeling of sadness or despair. Freeman says, ”Removing the quality of color from an image enhances its other qualities. With the modulation entirely in tone, the eye pays more attention to texture, line, and shape.” I chose to put this image in black and white because I felt it added more emotion to the photo along with the rain. Edited clarity, and used a black and white filter, minor cropping.

non sò perchè. ma finendo questo capolavoro mi è venuta in mente questa definizione letta su wikipedia:
In musica la modulazione corrisponde ad un cambio di tonalità all'interno di un brano.
La modulazione si effettua in tre passaggi distinti:
1. affermazione tonalità iniziale (gradi forti, cadenze, etc.),
2. fase neutra (utilizzo accordi comuni alle due tonalità),
3. affermazione nuova tonalità.
Esistono diversi livelli di modulazione a seconda di quanto peso e con quanta energia sia effettuata la modulazione.
Questi livelli sono tre:
* la modulazione vera e propria, che si ha quando la nuova tonalità viene affermata con forza e per un tempo sufficientemente lungo (affinche abbia il sopravvento sulla prima);
* la modulazione passeggera che sia ha quando vi è una per così dire divagazione tonale ad un'altra tonalità, per un breve tempo;
* la tonicizzazione che di solito è un passaggio temporaneo ad un'altra tonalità che tuttavia rafforza la tonalità iniziale piuttosto che indebolirla (ad esempio con le dominanti secondarie).
