August 1, 2014: Bruce Lakovick shows off freshly modified sprocket and disk brake. He's bored 'em out to accomodate a larger hub so that he can turn a mini scooter into a tall one with lower gearing. The brake disk was heat treated so we bored that one out in the lathe using the external jaws to hold it. Sprocket was too big for the lathe and its 5-spoke geometry meant it had to be bored out using the mill and a rotary table

There's that pesky magnet. It looks funky but it's just covered in Rit gunk

So I got a little bit crazy and cut a slot into the pump handle. It's not the most even cut, and I could wish it was, but I can fix that later, but I then used a screw that was about 3/4 as long as the diameter of the pump and screwed it into the bottom. This created a stopper for the pump, and solved the problem of the tube coming out.

I originally had a bicycle pump in place of the stock pump, but the distance on it was really bad mojo. So I had to go back.

I did a rough-cut on the cubby hole to test the mac mini LCD mount.

The cuts will be cleaned up later.

I took a dremel tool with a cutting bit and just went to town. Be careful on the air tank that you don't go too far in, the seal for the front of the tank is at the back of that small barrel and you don't want to accidentally tear that up, 'cause then you've got an Ex-Titan.

Here's the pump sealed up so that the overpressure release valve no longer comes into play.

Contrary to the catalog the window regulator requires 7" of clearance beneath the glass ... not 5-1/2 inch. I drilled new holes 1-1/4 inch higher to make up some of the difference. Some clearance needed.

After a quick build up (1x di2 makes it suuuper easy to set up a frame for test riding) and a somewhat unpleasant test ride (high handlebars are fine for some people, but not for me!)

After spending half a week pretending to be able to do sound, it seemed necessary to modify the pearl to reflect my effort over the week.

At this scale, adding wing cannons or weapons of any type would've spoiled the overall shape. This was a compromise.

Carriage 'Tambo' sits in the loco shed at Maldon while having one end modified into a platform like 'Yarra'. 20th June 2004.

Not seen in this picture is the two seats I've added in the back. What you can see is a spot for potted plant Groot (sounds more intimidating and threatening than "Baby Groot" to me.

Creative Proteomics provide ubiquitination modification and site prediction. Ubiquitin is an about 8.5 kDa polypeptide consisting of 76 amino acids that is appended to the ε-NH2 of lysine in target proteins via the C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin.
