These thermal baths are actually the third to have been built in the town of Spa.

This imposing two-story building was constructed in the French Neo-Renaissance style, based on plans by the architect Léon Suys.

Originally, the establishment comprised 52 bathing cabins with 54 bathtubs, two rooms with large, high-pressure showers, two large rooms with standard and hydrotherapy showers and immersion pools, two hydrotherapy rooms, two rooms for circular showers, sitz showers, and foot baths with running water, as well as two diving pools. Subsequently, numerous modifications were made to modernize the facility. Charles-Henri Thorelle was responsible for cutting and sculpting the French stone. The statues on the facade and sides are the work of Jacques Van Omberg and the Van Den Kerkhove brothers. The entrance hall and relaxation rooms were decorated by the painter Carpey. The first public bathhouse was built in 1828 on what is now the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall Square).

In 1841, a second bathhouse was built on the Place Royale, on the site of the former Tuileries Palace and the former tourist information center located at the end of the Galerie Léopold II, at the entrance to the Parc de Sept Heures (Seven O'Clock Park). An average of 6,000 baths were administered there annually.

Under the impetus of Mayor Servais, the third bathhouse was inaugurated on August 15, 1868, on the Lezaack meadows. This first-class hydrotherapy complex cost the considerable sum, for the time, of 1,500,000 Belgian francs. These bathhouses hosted up to 167,182 spa treatments per year (in 1967).

After 135 years of operation, these thermal baths closed their doors in 2003. It took time, patience, and tens of millions of euros, but the heart of Spa has been reborn. The heart of Spa is the town's former thermal baths, now transformed into the Hôtel des Bains. Begun in 2009, the restoration and transformation of this building, designed by Johan Suys, is now complete. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it attracted the Denys Group, which undertook the restoration.

Gare do Oriente or alternately, the Lisbon Oriente Station is one of the main Portuguese intermodal transport hubs, and is situated in the civil parish of Parque das Nações, municipality of Lisbon.

In 1994, the station was proposed as part of the modernization of the Linha do Norte, a modification to the rail line to facilitate the future development of an Oriente station. Located along Avenida D. João II, over Avenida de Berlim and Rua Conselheiro Mariano de Carvalho, the station was planned to occupy the lands once occupied by Apeadeiro dos Olivais, which was demolished in the 1990s in order to make way for the new station.

The Airbus A321 is a stretched first derivative of the standard A320. The variant was launched in 1988, when the A320 began operations. Compared with the A320, the A321's major change is the stretched fuselage, which is lengthened by 6.94 metres (22 ft 9 in); the A321 is the largest of the A320 family. This is achieved by adding a 4.27 m (14 ft 0 in) front plug immediately forward of wing, and a 2.67 m (8 ft 9 in) rear plug. To maintain performance, double-slotted flaps were included, in addition to increasing the wing area by 4 m2 (43 sq ft), to 128 m2 (1,380 sq ft).

Other minor modifications were made to accommodate the A321-100's 9,600 kg (21,200 lb) increase in maximum takeoff weight to 83,000 kg (183,000 lb). The maiden flight of the first of two prototypes came on 11 March 1993. The A321-100 entered service in January 1994 with Lufthansa.

The basic A321-100 features a reduction in range compared to the A320 as extra fuel tankage was not added to the initial design to compensate for the extra weight. Consequently, Airbus launched the heavier and longer range A321-200 development in 1995 which has a full-passenger transcontinental US range.

This is achieved through higher thrust engines (V2533-A5 or CFM56-5B3), minor structural strengthening, and an increase in fuel capacity with the installation of one or two optional 2,990 L (790 US gal) tanks in the rear underfloor hold. The additional fuel tankage increases the total capacity of this model to 30,030 L (7,930 US gal). These modifications also increased the maximum takeoff weight of the A321-200 to 93,000 kg (205,000 lb). This variant first flew in December 1996, and entered service with Monarch Airlines in April 1997. Its direct competitors include the 757–200 and the 737-900/900ER.

A total of 1,376 of the A321ceo model have been delivered, with 347 remaining on order as of 30 September 2016.

I've not had anything to post for a little while. The miserable weather has been mostly to blame, but yesterday changed all that. It felt like spring has finally arrived.

In the 1930s, McDowell Grove was a camp for the Civilian Conservation Corps - a work-relief program part of President Roosevelt's New Deal legislation - which built bridges, picnic areas, a boathouse, bridle paths and a limestone dam on the West Branch of the DuPage River. During World War II, the site served as a secret installation for developing radar technology.

Today, the 465-acre McDowell Grove Forest Preserve in Naperville is comprised of mature woodlands, open fields with eastern bluebirds and Cooper's hawks, and a floodplain forest with towering butternuts and black maples. It's recently been the site of a dam- modification project, which will return the stretch of river to a healthier, more natural waterway and improve aquatic habitats.

CP Soo SP, modding head, opening eyes.

Not done yet. I need to get the eyeshape right first, and also need to make some space inside her head for the eyeballs.

Still a lot to work on

CN has replaced all the old former North Western Dash 8s with AC44C6Ms rebuilds on Iron Range ore trains. Here we see U790 rolling through the off road park near Gilbert. Also the newest ore cars built in 2024 are assigned out of Two Harbors with one train set currently set up in Distrbutive Power mode that loads at Minntac East. The other trains will continue to operate conventionally until clearance modifications are done at the mine loading pockets to accommodate a locomotive on the end.

Well he is kinda finished. I see a lot of things I could've done better. But I will alter him when I have time again.

I will sand his eyes a tad better for example. They are a tad bit grainy now. So it needs to be smoother.

But in the end I am happy with the result. He is the little snarling guy I wanted him to be, haha.

Fun project ^^

I'm in the process of making some changes to my drip kit. I haven't been able to get much more than the basic shapes in the past year so now that it's getting cooler I have some time to make some changes. This is just a test and so far it worked. Still needs a lot of work.

Two days ago, I mentioned that I may work on the background colour for this image, so I spent a little time in photoshop. This probably isn't quite right either, but one tries. I probably prefer the original bg.
