Ok - so here is a version of the mask I made and used, to get these images

This mask is for the 6x6 and has;

2 side lips; to cellotape onto the 6x6 mask

4 strip sections

2 strip sections cut out

2 strip sections left

Shoot one roll, rewind film, turn the mask upside down (no need to take the card off the mask) and shoot again.

This one is with thin white card, but black card is better.

Using white card, if you shoot bright lights, the lights will show through the card - see here.

I seem to have a thick blank strip in the centre of my images, and I cant work out how to cut the mask so there isn't this blank strip????

I need to practice and try other masks.

Another way is to use black electrical tape for a 3 strip horizontal version on the 6x4 mask -

Place a strip of tape across the top and bottom of the mask, leaving the middle section clear. Shoot a roll, rewind, take the tape off, and place a strip of tape in the middle section this time, and shoot again.

This will give you 3 horizontal sections. I will post the images from this mask at a later date.

Camouflaged Yaris

This is a photograph from the 3rd and penultimate round of the 2015 Mullingar Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 20th May 2015 at 20:00. The weather was perfect for running and racing and even an improvement on last week. Bright sunshine with little or no breeze were conditions greeted by all the runners this evening. This seemed to also make the course quicker than last week with many runners recording faster times than the 1st or 2nd round race. This year's 5KM is ran on a modified route based on the route from the last couple of years. The final 1KM is within the Belvedere Gardens bringing runners down to the lakeside for a second time and finishing along the aptly named Stream Of Life. The route modification means that the race offers a slightly faster route than the hill finish of previous years. After tonight all attention turns to the final night of the road league next week.

The race is promoted by Mullingar Harriers for the Pat Finnerty Memorial Cup. Competitors need to run 3 races out of the 4 races in May (any order) to be considered in the overall placing in categories at the conclusion of the league. Runners can also choose to just run one race without being considered for the overall league placings. Over 330 people took part in tonight's event bring the total from the three nights to so far to well over 1,000 runners. As with last week the new finish area provided a nice space for runners to stay around and chat in the evening sunshine. The Mullingar Road League 2015 is now half-way through and has continued successfully and looks to add to the success in the history of this great series. Despite the bright evenings the photographic conditions in Belevedere are difficult so this photograph is part of a smaller than usual photograph set as there were many blurred photographs this evening.

The "Road League" is something of a misnomer but is an indication of the League's origins on the roads around Ladestown Mullingar prior to it's move into Belvedere in 2008. The Road League is the envy of many other races in the country as the Belvedere locations offers a completely traffic free 5KM route.

Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:

     ►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera

     ►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set

     ►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

     ►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

I figured that since everyone else in the world has made a variation or upgrade on the m4/m16, i would too. I took the m16a4 bolt, 20" barel, m4 birdcage flash hider, then suped it up with various stuff.

Use a small section of a hack saw to cut these slots in the two posts located by the DC out cable.

The two main problems to address are the locator pins on the front of each runner plus the angle of the metal where the floor bolts go through. The locator pin comes off easily with a hacksaw. Three of the angle tabs can also be easily bent flat by sticking them in a vice and slowly easing them into shape using the length of the runners as a nice lever.

The texture design worked out more uniform by changing the design of the center support walls.

This is a stop-motion video I made while painting a pair of Skechers Sweets shoes.

Something I did in Photoshop for a co-worker's son, who is a Beatles fan. It was printed at 11" x 17" and framed. To my surprise, it came out better printed out than it looked on my screen. I was told that he loved it.

AIP Foundation collaborated with the Gia Lai Traffic Safety Committee (TSC) to celebrate the launch of a new public awareness campaign and school zone road modifications in Pleiku City as part of the Slow Zones, Safe Zones program – the first-ever pilot program to reduce speed in school zones in Vietnam, supported by Fondation Botnar and the Global Road Safety Partnership. At the ceremony at Phan Dang Luu Primary School, over 1200 teachers, students, and parents of the school attended in addition to government stakeholders from the National TSC, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Gia Lai TSC, the Gia Lai Department of Education and Training, the Gia Lai Department of Transport, and the Gia Lai Traffic Police. Additionally, representatives from all 32 primary schools in Pleiku, KOVA Paint, the Global Road Safety Partnership, and AIP Foundation attended the ceremony.

Pins 16 and 2 are both strapped to +5V. This mod separates pin 16 from pin 2, and the wire brings +5V back, to power the multiplexor. Note that the solder (and pin remnants) have been removed from the pass-through hole. Since this hole connects through to pin 2, it will be used to take an the address line through from underneath.

This was my first body mod, back in October 2008. I can't remember what it felt like not to have one.

Inner Shielding removed and certain sections cut out to allow for easier access for modification at a later point, such as hard drive replacement and such, as well as better cooling, painted a nice blue color since the plastic panel covering it is now a frosted clear and you can see through it... coming soon should be some internal adjustable lighting to show off the internal mods as well as increase the wow factor of having a clear laptop...

This is a photograph from the 4th and final round of the 2015 Mullingar Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 27th May 2015 at 20:00. The weather was perfect for running and racing again and gave bright sunshine with some breeze. The weather conditions were favourable for runners this evening. As this was the final night of a very successful league there were many category prizes up for grabs with runners having to ensure they ran their races to gain the required finish times for the overall calculations. There was a great atmosphere at the finish as spectators cheered on the runners. This year's 5KM is ran on a modified route based on the route from the last couple of years. The final 1KM is within the Belvedere Gardens bringing runners down to the lakeside for a second time and finishing along the aptly named Stream Of Life. The route modification means that the race offers a slightly faster route than the hill finish of previous years. In the prize giving and awards in Belvedere House Cafe there were refreshments served for runners and this brought the curtain down on the Road League for 2015.

The race is promoted by Mullingar Harriers for the Pat Finnerty Memorial Cup. Competitors need to run 3 races out of the 4 races in May (any order) to be considered in the overall placing in categories at the conclusion of the league. Runners can also choose to just run one race without being considered for the overall league placings. Over 330 people took part in tonight's event bring the total from the four nights to so far to well over 1,400 runners. As with all of the previous weeks the new finish area provided a nice space for runners to stay around and chat in the evening sunshine. The Mullingar Road League 2015 is now over but has continued successfully and looks to add to the success in the history of this great series. Despite the bright evenings the photographic conditions in Belevedere are difficult so this photograph is part of a smaller than usual photograph set as there were many blurred photographs this evening.

The "Road League" is something of a misnomer but is an indication of the League's origins on the roads around Ladestown Mullingar prior to it's move into Belvedere in 2008. The Road League is the envy of many other races in the country as the Belvedere locations offers a completely traffic free 5KM route.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:

     ►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera

     ►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set

     ►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

     ►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. taken on the 21 dec 2012 in wiltshire uk...... Im not sure what these lines in the sky are but as you can see from the pictures they seemed to be pulling the spray left by the aircraft across the sky (see next 3 pics in my photostream). As much as i dont like to believe it, i think weather modification is real and poses a great threat to all of us and life on earth in general as we all have to breathe the same air !.. The reason i post these pictures is to try and raise awareness as i feel that the more people that know about this, the more chance there is of putting an end to this complete madness !!! For those of you who have not heard of this before please research geo engineering, chemtrails, solar radiation management... Anyway thanks for looking at my pictures and thanks to all you guys who continue to post great pictures here on flickr.....
