This is a picture from my propane smoker's user manual. My smoker does not have the side dampers as this picture shows, and this is the only picture in the entire manual that shows side dampers.

Upon further research, other, more expensive versions of my smoker have these side dampers, which is probably why this graphic has the side dampers visible (reused graphic).

I'm having a very difficult time getting an internal temperature below 250 degrees in my smoker, 180-200 being optimal for things like brisket and seafood. My plan is to buy or otherwise obtain two damper covers, drill some holes, and install the dampers as shown in this picture on my smoker.

Theoretically, this will allow cooler outside air to mix with the hot air and smoke between the fire and the meat, keeping the fire hot (and the wood smoking) while keep the meat from cooking too quickly.

S.E.V. Marchal distributor. Citroen GS X2.

Modification to make adjustment of points simpler.

Cassette points are not set by gap, but by dwell angle. On early versions of the SEV Marchal distributor, adjustment was by removal of cap (and sometimes body, given its location) and to turn the thumbscrew a by clicks in either direction depending on dwell angle required. Later versions had a hole in the body in which a 3mm allen key was inserted making cap removal unnecessary.

Hole viewed from side without allen key.

Hand trolley modified as bike trailer?

I guess the plastic container bucketing the seat acts as a mudguard? (there's potential for some more storage there - but this owner had completely cut away the front - possibly to allow pedalling!)

I cut into the shroud around the fan so that it would fit with the mangled Zalman heatsink.

A construction barge builds a wall along the L-40 Levee in the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. Modifications to the levee are part of the creation of the Fran Reich Preserve (Site 1 Impoundment) that will capture and store water normally discharged through the Hillsboro Canal.

File these two posts located by the AC IN and Power Switch down until you are just about to breakthrough to the screw hole inside the post.

One of many invented solutions for making a physics cart move without needing a push.

Fitting together. You could certainly make the power cable much shorter than I did.

Added 1" and counter balance to rudder and elevator.

Connector C104 is the connector that is easiest to get to for this modification.

All three wires we need run though this connector.

Pin 7 (Pink with Yellow) is the Power Window circuit.

Pin 11(Red with Yellow) is the Always on circuit.

Pin 30 (Pink with Orange) is the Sunroof circuit.

I figured that since everyone else in the world has made a variation or upgrade on the m4/m16, i would too. I took the m16a4 bolt, 20" barel, m4 birdcage flash hider, then suped it up with various stuff.

Use a small section of a hack saw to cut these slots in the two posts located by the DC out cable.

The two main problems to address are the locator pins on the front of each runner plus the angle of the metal where the floor bolts go through. The locator pin comes off easily with a hacksaw. Three of the angle tabs can also be easily bent flat by sticking them in a vice and slowly easing them into shape using the length of the runners as a nice lever.

The texture design worked out more uniform by changing the design of the center support walls.

The addition of a 10K trimpot in series with the 2.2K resistor allowed me to set the lower end of the coverage to 7 MHz. AA7EE made a similar modification but substituted a 10K trimpot for the 2.2K resistor (R12) aa7ee.wordpress.com/2011/07/24/the-wbr-a-simple-high-perf...

Something I did in Photoshop for a co-worker's son, who is a Beatles fan. It was printed at 11" x 17" and framed. To my surprise, it came out better printed out than it looked on my screen. I was told that he loved it.

I did this for free as a one-off gift for a friend.

Pins 16 and 2 are both strapped to +5V. This mod separates pin 16 from pin 2, and the wire brings +5V back, to power the multiplexor. Note that the solder (and pin remnants) have been removed from the pass-through hole. Since this hole connects through to pin 2, it will be used to take an the address line through from underneath.
