Matchbox Series No4 Dodge K Series Stake Bed Truck Restoration. 1966 to 1968 - 1-75 Series. This is the second Stake bed I am restoring. I bought it years ago at a swap meet. I have applied the Citristrip that works great on metal but don't use it on plastic it will eat plastic. The stuff is amazing and takes about 15 to 20 mins to strip a Matchbox.

Additional IR receiver and M motor have been added and original shock absorbers have been replaced with 6,5L, hard spring. I tried to keep original look as much as possible and just to add this cool function. VIDEO: youtu.be/QBd-y9XLZOc
This is a 53mm pf basket fitted to an Aeropress. I still haven't tested it. Why did I do this, 'cause I could, no other reason so far.
Two words, I got bored... oh wait that's three. Oh well, so I decided to carve away on serenity's face yesterday, it's looking good so far, but I still have the right side to do. I got sick of how simple and ordinary her bone structure looked. I mean really? Why was her nose so pointy and her cheeks so formless in the first place? IDK... but yeah, this is the most fun mod I've done yet :)

Wire one up in line just next to the terminal for the battery, there is plenty of room for that.

Evidence of a number of modifications done over the last 30 years!
Headhone jack modified to take an exteral paddles, with a changeover switch to swap dots and dashes (for ambidextrous operation!)
I added an extra earth (ground) wire because as supplied, and used with the UK electrical mains system the chassis floated to around half mains voltage, enough to cause sparks and tingles!
The mechanical arrangement of the paddles is somewhat ingenious ...
This was the first electronic/radio kit I ever built, I think it was back in 1978 ...
.. and it still works fine!

Barcelona is a spectacular European city that stands out for the significant imprint of architect Antoni Gaudi. Gaudi was born in 1852, and died as the result of a streetcar accident in 1926. Best known for the design and construction of La Sagrada Familia, he also built numerous other buildings in Barcelona, including Casa Battlo, a commission from a wealthy family that called for significant modifications to an existing building. Like all of his buildings, Casa Batllo relies on Gaudi’s unique integration of forms from nature and advanced geometrical concepts.
Like Alvar Aalto and Frank Lloyd Wright, he also designed every aspect of every building, including knobs, doors and furnishings. His was a creative genius that lets his reputation live on 90 years after his untimely death.

"Sault Ste. Marie (/ˈsuː seɪnt məˈriː/ SOO-seint-ma-REE) is a city on the St. Marys River in Ontario, Canada, close to the Canada–US border. It is the seat of the Algoma District and the third largest city in Northern Ontario, after Sudbury and Thunder Bay.
The Ojibwe, the indigenous Anishinaabe inhabitants of the area, call this area Baawitigong, meaning "place of the rapids." They used this as a regional meeting place during whitefish season in the St. Mary's Rapids. (The anglicized form of this name, Bawating, is used in institutional and geographic names in the area.)
To the south, across the river, is the United States and the Michigan city of the same name. These two communities were one city until a new treaty after the War of 1812 established the border between Canada and the United States in this area at the St. Mary's River. In the 21st century, the two cities are joined by the International Bridge, which connects Interstate 75 on the Michigan side, and Huron Street (and former Ontario Secondary Highway 550B) on the Ontario side. Shipping traffic in the Great Lakes system bypasses the Saint Mary's Rapids via the American Soo Locks, the world's busiest canal in terms of tonnage that passes through it, while smaller recreational and tour boats use the Canadian Sault Ste. French colonists referred to the rapids on the river as Les Saults de Ste. Marie and the village name was derived from that. The rapids and cascades of the St. Mary's River descend more than 6 m (20 ft) from the level of Lake Superior to the level of the lower lakes. Hundreds of years ago, this slowed shipping traffic, requiring an overland portage of boats and cargo from one lake to the other. The entire name translates to "Saint Mary's Rapids" or "Saint Mary's Falls". The word sault is pronounced [so] in French, and /suː/ in the English pronunciation of the city name. Residents of the city are called Saultites.
Sault Ste. Marie is bordered to the east by the Rankin and Garden River First Nation reserves, and to the west by Prince Township. To the north, the city is bordered by an unincorporated portion of Algoma District, which includes the local services boards of Aweres, Batchawana Bay, Goulais and District, Peace Tree and Searchmont. The city's census agglomeration, including the townships of Laird, Prince and Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional and the First Nations reserves of Garden River and Rankin, had a total population of 79,800 in 2011.
Native American settlements, mostly of Ojibwe-speaking peoples, existed here for more than 500 years. In the late 17th century, French Jesuit missionaries established a mission at the First Nations village. This was followed by development of a fur trading post and larger settlement, as traders, trappers and Native Americans were attracted to the community. It was considered one community and part of Canada until after the War of 1812 and settlement of the border between Canada and the US at the Ste. Mary's River. Originally Eagle Durasig Signals, they were replaced with LED in 2011. A number of modifications have been made over the years, including modifications of the left turn slip lanes to enable drivers to more easily see traffic from the right, and the addition of right turn lanes.
More recently bus priority signals were added and a third right turn lane from Cheltenham Road (east) to Springvale Road (north).
Until the early 1970's this intersection was a large roundabout, one of the few in Melbourne at the time, and had Centre Dandenong Road feed in opposite at 45° to the other two roads and was commonly called 'Five Ways'; the name lives on in the nearby caravan park.
This is a photograph from the 1st round of the 2015 Mullingar Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 6th May 2015 at 20:00. This year the 5KM was ran on a modified route based on the route from the last couple of years. Tonight the final 1KM stayed within the Belvedere Gardens bringing runners down to the lakeside for a second time and finishing along the aptly named Stream Of Life. The route modification meant that the race offered a slightly faster route than the hill finish of previous years.
The race is promoted by Mullingar Harriers for the Pat Finnerty Memorial Cup. Competitors need to run 3 races out of the 4 races in May (any order) to be considered in the overall placing in categories at the conclusion of the league. Over 350 people took part in tonight's event. The weather was perfect for running with sunshine with just a little breeze. The new finish area provided a nice space for runners to stay around and chat in the evening sunshine. The Mullingar Road League 2015 has started off successfully and looks to add to the success in the history of this great series.
The "Road League" is something of a misnomer but is an indication of the League's origins on the roads around Ladestown Mullingar prior to it's move into Belvedere in 2008. The Road League is the envy of many other races in the country as the Belvedere locations offers a completely traffic free 5KM route.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. This is a modification of the official Speed Champions Corvette set. It uses many of the pieces from the original, but there are some extras needed. The additional parts are pretty common and should only cost around $10-15 to gather if you don't already have them in your collection. As you can see from the photos, I used the sticker sheet to add extra detail. I cut the side skirt and spoiler stickers on the C8.R down to fit on 1x6 tiles, and the headlights on the Stingray. I used many of the same connections and techniques from the original set to accomplish the shaping of the vehicles and I think they both turned out very well.

Canon Type Hot-foot.
Orientation: you are looking at the pin layout of an ST-E2 inverted, looking down on the 'hot-foot'.

It seems that to elicit Focus Assist from an old ST-E2, you need to apply c 5.0V across X to Y. I'll add polarity when I've doubled checked it Edit: X(-) & Y (+) & 4.5 volts is enough. But, you have to keep the ST-E2 awake - still working that one out . . . Edit: just making that circuit seems to be enough.
USB packs can deliver 5.5V, drops to 4.5V when resting.
