These were taken at Moseley Vintage Hub, Birmingham UK. My daughter took portraits of local Mods as part of her university project, so I snapped a few, then promptly forgot I had them in the camera.

Pentax ME Super, Ilford HP5+. Developed in Bellini Hydrofen for 9:45, 30 sec agitations, 20 degrees. Scanned on Epson V600.

Finished Mod Strings quilt top. A huge thank you to the awesome ladies who helped me make this scrappy yumminess!

I guess the hipster kids finally discovered the music I've been listening to for years: '60s mod/freakbeat, '60s Motown, mid-'70s power pop, and late-'70s second wave mod. Using Elizabeth Hartman's mod mosaic method, but, similar to my choice for this month's New Bee on the Block assignment, instead of using colorful scraps with white "tile grout" sashing, I used pieces of Kona Snow with turquoise sashing.
