Mittlerweile fast nicht wegzudenken im Güterverkehr, der Vectron. Auch die Tschechische Staatsbahn CD hat welche in ihrem Bestand. Im Sommer 2019 war die 383 008-0 mit einem Güterzug von Tschechien in Richtung Norden unterwegs. Soeben jagt der Zug durch Cossebaude.

La Presentazione al Tempio è un dipinto a tempera su tavola di Gentile da Fabriano, datato 1423 e conservato nel Musée du Louvre a Parigi. Si tratta dello scomparto destro della predella della pala dell'Adorazione dei Magi, commissionata da Palla Strozzi per la cappella Strozzi di Santa Trinita a Firenze ed oggi conservata agli Uffizi. Agli Uffizi lo scomparto mancante è oggi sostituito da una copia. In origine conservata alle Gallerie dell'Accademia di Firenze, durante il periodo dell'occupazione francese, Vivant Denon la individuò tra le opere da mandare al Musee Napoleon a Parigi, oggetto di spoliazioni napoleoniche, ma non venne restituita con il Congresso di Vienna.

Lo scomparto della Presentazione concludeva le storie dell'infanzia di Cristo della predella, accanto alla Natività ed alla Fuga in Egitto. La scena si può dividere in tre parti. Al centro si trova il tempio di Gerusalemme, raffigurato come un elaborato complesso a pianta centrale aperto sul davanti, tramite un loggiato a tre arcate, in modo da mostrare la scena che sta avvenendo all'interno, cioè la presentazione di Gesù alla presenza di Maria, Giuseppe, la Profetessa Anna, Simeone il Giusto e un astante vestito di rosso, forse il sommo sacerdote, oltre a una figura seminascosta dietro l'aureola della Vergine. Vivace è il Bambino, che sembra volersi divincolare dalla presa di Simeone, secondo uno studio dal vero che si riscontra anche in altre opere della maturità dell'artista.

Molto articolata è la costruzione architettonica, con il disegno delle volte in prospettiva intuitiva che ricorda le profonde scene della pittura gotica della seconda metà del XIV secolo.

A destra e a sinistra si trova la rappresentazione di una città ideale, con palazzi, chiese e loggiati costruiti con attenzione minuziosa ai dettagli, come i balconcini, le scale, il ritmo delle volte, ecc. Si tratta di una pura quinta architettonica, sottodimensionata rispetto ai personaggi antistanti. A sinistra assistono alla scena nel tempio due nobildonne, una delle quali, quella sinistra, è abbigliata in maniera particolarmente sontuosa: essa indossa la giornea, tipico abito delle classi più agiate, e in testa porta la "ghirlanda", un copricapo a forma di anello con fiori e rametti intrecciati a un prezioso panno dorato. Esse hanno una postura altera e composta, secondo la raffigurazione tipica della classe signorile.

A destra invece fanno da contraltare le figure di due mendicanti, abbigliati di miseri stracci e pateticamente curvi per la loro indigenza. L'accostamento tra figure grottesche e figure idealizzate è tipico dell'arte tardo gotica, con personaggi formalizzati, privi di connotazioni psicologiche specifiche. Questa antitesi può anche essere letta come una sorta di compiacimento aristocratico nel confronto tra il patinato mondo delle corti e il suo opposto umile e miserevole del popolino.

An unexpected and unusual working over the S&C occurred on Friday 12th August when 3F01 11:14 Glen Douglas to Kineton MoD service was routed this way. Running in an STP path, the working passes through Greengate just after 17:30.

This train would usually take the direct route straight down the west coast mainline and I can only assume the one-day rail strike the following day and a limited number of paths may have led to 3F01 being sent over the S&C?

GBRf Class 66 no 66736 'Wolverhampton Wanderers' hauls a pair of FCA container flats sandwiched between two VKA barrier wagons.

Big thanks to Paperballpark for taking the photo and letting me use it. I completely forgot about taking my own...

Anywho, here's my first pass at Arkham Asylum for Brick 2015. I tried to keep the spirit of the original set and elements I loved while upscaling it.

It has a lot of interior but I'm going to finish and extend the asylum for the second pass and for the third pass, get some of the grounds done! Was in a little rush to get bits finished for the show! :D

Una mattina mentre passavo in auto lungo una strada del centro storico di Vieste ho notato questa simpatica scena. Ho parcheggiato, mi sono appostato come un paparazzo, e con un generoso tele ho catturato il momento. Davanti ai miei occhi si svolgeva la trama di un film lungo secoli: un calzolaio che trovava un momento di pausa inviando un sms. Ho guardato il display è mi sono detto: Moderne distrazioni. Ho successivamente elaborato la foto convertendo lo scatto in B&N accentuando i contrasti nei chiaroscuri.

I've IDed most of this stuff and it makes me a little sad that there's no complete outfits, but now it just makes me want to hunt down the other pieces more. My favorite is the Smasheroo jacket.

I have a few more Maddie Mod pieces in my giant container of Barbie clothes and I used to have even more but I gave some away when I was a child and now I'm kicking myself.

This is a small tuning mod containing a chrome and a painted roofrack for Scania R&S Next-Gen, for all cabs.

I recommend to use Eugene's Scania pack, but it's not required.
