Quite amazed but happy to find the Mod Revival at the aquarium end of Madeira Drive today. Amazed because B&H council closed Madeira Drive to vehicles at the start of lockdown. It was for use by cycles and pedestrians only. This caused no end of trouble (to put it mildly) in Brighton and Hove.

J'ai hésité entre 2 photos pour le round 1 du concours Miss Frenchy Blythe sur FB, j'ai finalement choisi la version "yeux ouverts" que vous pouvez voir un peu plus bas ^^

Here is my take on some of batman's closest friends and allys. This version of robin is damian wayne and i added the mask because of his league of assassins roots. This version of batgirl is heavily inspired from the new 52 and the red hood is changed from his average brown vest to this new black vest/hoodie.
Robin:
The hair is from the LBM Bruce Wayne and tbe face and torso is from the regular Damian Wayne minifigure. The cape us from the LBM Robin along with regular dark green legs
Batgirl:
The helmet, torso and cape is from the LBM Batgirl and the legs are from the LBM Catwoman
Red Hood:
The head is the LBM CMF series Red Hood, the tirso is from shocker in the beware the vulture set and the legs are from the SSP in the lego movie
Trying out new backgrounds what do you think?
This is my take on shocker without his mask since there is no lego head on this planet that would best fit his mask so I took the easy route and unmasked him. Stating off, the hair is the generic slicked back hair in dark brown and the face is from kite man. The torso is from the resistance soldier found in set 75103 and the arms are from the actual shocker minifigure and finally the legs are from CMF catman

The owner wanted a lock on the back of her doll.
I had to glue the torso together and drilled a hole, so the key can be turned around. The lock didn't fit perfectly as the back is very curvy. Breaking it in three pieces and then repair it again with epoxy and paint.
It was a really fun mod to do and learned a lot from it.
This photo is for Elaine who mentioned the pink dress would look nice on a Hair Fair, so here she is. Talking Barbie has a new mod outfit made from a vintage McCall's pattern. Now I am on to Christmas outfits!
Thanks to the Boston Modern Quilt Guild members and Hip to Bee Square participants for helping me make this quilt!

Another mod of 1103 S.p.A's. My boys got me the beach buggy set as a Christmas gift. After I made it in LDD, I gave it a go on the actual model. Works like the champ. :)
Credit to 1103 SpA for the suspension.
When i bought her she was wearing this dress, looks like a mod wedding dress, but it has no Mattel tags. I had no idea how to fix her hair on its original form. Its the first one I have of this kind.
Well here it is folks, the finished product. I made this because I loved Delta's M53 and he jokingly said hey you should SPW it, so I said why the hell not. And so here it is.\

A sneak peak at an adaptation of LRstitched.com's Mod Circle quilt.
Features Amy Butler's Lark fabric in the applique. Blocks were put together in a "quilt as you go", using both machine and hand quilting.
A while ago, I posted a photo of all of my vintage era Barbies. Here's my mod (more or less - some aren't quite in the right era but mod's a bit tricky) family!
In my headlong rush into the vintage era, I have admittedly been neglecting my Mod gals and guys... so here is a shot of some of the gang at the 1969/70 Barbie Family House - The last Mod era outfit and gal I bought before my vintage addiction started was the lovely blonde side ponytail talker (who has been repaired to talk!) and her complete 'Little Bow Pink' outfit, which is still a really bright pink! There was another Francie outfit I got about this time that I also never photographed that I will also take pics of soon!
