Étretat et ses bains de mer deviennent une mode à partir de 1843 grâce au roman Histoire de Romain d'Étretat, d’Alphonse Karr, romancier et journaliste. Il s’y rendait souvent et disait « Si je dois montrer la mer à un ami, ce sera Étretat ».
Le petit village de pêcheurs ne cessera alors de se développer. Entre les falaises, les villas vont s'élever à un rythme soutenu. Le casino ouvrira ses portes en 1852 et de grands spectacles seront donnés, tels que des opéras d’Offenbach. L’arrivée du chemin de fer ne fera qu’accroitre sa notoriété. Dès 1890, Étretat deviendra le lieu de villégiature par excellence. Des écrivains de renom tomberont amoureux de ce cadre magique et pittoresque : Maupassant, né près de Dieppe, André Gide, enterré non loin de là ou bien encore Maurice Leblanc, qui fera de l’aiguille creuse le repaire du gentleman cambrioleur Arsène Lupin. Immortalisé par les peintres Courbet et Monet, Étretat a su garder son âme de petit village.
Ahora que era muy rica me había comprado una casa en la playa, era una casa bastante grande, con piscina y con un sistema de seguridad de los más modernos. Me habían recomendado hacerme una operación de estética para huir de la mafia a la que había dejado tirada por tener otro cerdo lamecoños. No me apetecía pasar por el quirófano de nuevo así que decidí quitarme de todas las redes sociales, no usar móvil y no permitir que nadie lo usara si iba a reunirse conmigo. Me había vuelto un poco paranoica con ese tema. No usaba tarjetas de crédito a mi nombre y me había hecho más de veinte documentos de identidad diferentes. En uno era Irina, en otro Sally, tenía uno que me llamaba Humberta, o María, los nombres eran muy dispares. Ahora usaba Jana que me parecía más bonito y además corto. Me había llevado a mis perros a la casa de la playa y a mi putita a la que también tuve que cambiarle el nombre. Nada más llegar le tinté el pelo rubio a mi puta y le pinté los labios morados por usar un color diferente al rosa, así no llamaba tanto la atención. (sigue en mi blog, links en información)

Story:
Captured in the heart of the Jalapão region, this panoramic nightscape reveals the raw beauty of Brazil’s Cerrado under a pristine Bortle 1 sky. Dominating the scene is the luminous arch of the Milky Way, stretching from one horizon to the other, its core glowing with interstellar dust, emission nebulae, and countless stars. Another oddity from back in the day. 33065 being used as a shunt release loco to allow S&D 7F to run round at Ludgershall MOD base during the Basingstoke rail fair. the 7F worked shuttles to and from Andover. 26 September 1987.
Modern unterwegs...
Mittlerweile fast nicht wegzudenken im Güterverkehr, der Vectron. Auch die Tschechische Staatsbahn CD hat welche in ihrem Bestand. Im Sommer 2019 war die 383 008-0 mit einem Güterzug von Tschechien in Richtung Norden unterwegs. Soeben jagt der Zug durch Cossebaude.

DISCLAIMER:
Because of a few current Second Life limitations in the Rendering department, you WILL see some horizontal seams on the Experimental versions due to the material splitting so they'd work with the Alpha HUD. That is why I made 2 versions for each arm. One with and one without alpha divisions.
This issue will be fixed once PBR comes out and the new rendering system is introduced.
The Slim version is made for both those who think the original size is too large and to better fit clothes.

60030 Takes the Reading line from Basingstoke on 24/June/2003 with 6V38 Marchwood to Didcot yard MOD.
Ex MOD Army penknife manufactured in 1954. This has been my only penknife, which I received at the age of 12. Never being a boy scout it's not been kept in my pocket, it's always resided in a draw ready and waiting to remove a bottle top or cut a piece of string. "Knife"... "Looking close on Friday"...

Ci sono diversi modi per reagire al dolore, a eventi terribili della vita :
_Esserne distrutti, annichiliti
_ Diventare più buoni e compassionevoli, per impedire che certi eventi disumani possano capitare ad altri. In fondo, una missione.
_ Non superare l'odio, il rancore per l'ingiustizia dell'esperienza vissuta, e, da vittime, trasformarsi in carnefici.
Una quarta reazione può essere l'indifferenza : per non soffrire ci si rifugia nell'evasione, in un mondo stupido e privo di valori, contribuendo così alla diffusione del male.
Quest'anno il ricordo della Shoah, così importante perché non si ripetano tragedie simili, è avvelenato da scontri .
Chi difende la causa Palestinese, è tacciato di antisemitismo e odiato ; mentre in effetti si diffondono sempre di più gruppi, in genere di estrema destra, pieni di odio verso gli Ebrei.
E ancora una volta invece di unirsi di fronte alla morte e alla distruzione si cercano nemici e capri espiatori.
Da una parte si nega il genocidio che si sta svolgendo nella Striscia di Gaza, ritenendolo solo una giusta reazione ai terribili fatti del 7 Ottobre ; dall'altra non si deve pensare che tutti gli Ebrei siano d'accordo con Netanyahu.
Mai più bambini, uomini, donne discriminati, esclusi, privati di ogni dignità e diritto , uccisi. Di ogni razza, colore, provenienza.

Ps Ci può essere anche un'altra reazione di qualcuno che aspira ad essere un leader : servirsi dei momenti di difficoltà della popolazione, della loro mancanza di analisi, cultura, e pilotare le loro reazioni istintive, ' di pancia', diffondendo fake news, per creare una ' caccia al nemico', ed instaurare un potere politico basato sull'odio e sulla guerra.
Pericolo tanto più reale nell'epoca dei 'social ', in cui ci sono sistemi che pilotano l'opinione della gente, verso la divisione, una divisione subdola e violenta, che serve a un potere personale.

Anywho, here's my first pass at Arkham Asylum for Brick 2015. I tried to keep the spirit of the original set and elements I loved while upscaling it.
It has a lot of interior but I'm going to finish and extend the asylum for the second pass and for the third pass, get some of the grounds done! Was in a little rush to get bits finished for the show! :D
