An Industrial Railway special train on the Ministry of Defence Eskmeals branch on 23 August 1990, where photography was not permitted inside the Proof and Experimental Establishment. In true Army Railway Operating Department tradition, an immaculate Ruston & Hornsby 'LSSH' class 0-6-0 diesel hydraulic, 434 'Millom Castle' (W/No.468044 built in 1963) is posed with the brake van conveying the IRS visitors on a tour of the system and is seen at the boundary gate leading to the sidings interfacing with the B.R. Cumbrian Coast line.

London, England, 04/2015. Mod - an almost forgotten subculture. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mod_(subculture)

In winter I bought April Story’s girl body since they had a great sale and they were ok selling me an extra torso piece. The body is absolutely gorgeous, but I just can’t live without a waist joint and I hate boob joints, so I wanted to mod the body to have a waist joint similar to what Supia’s old body has.

First drew the lines of where the joint will end up and then the lines of where I should saw the pieces. I sawed them with a coping saw and as you can see, some of the holes were drilled really near the back, which turned out to be a small problem… The pieces are full resin so they weight a bit btw. In the end I had to fill out the hip piece a bit with epoxy, but thankfully it goes under the torso piece so it doesn’t show much.

After I did most of the work of drilling the pieces with dremel, I finished the job by hand with wet sandpaper.

I also sanded the nipples just a bit because they would have showed way too much through the clothes, they still do but not as bad anymore.

I’m really pleased because now the torso has that range of movement that I love on dolls with waist joints. And that shoulders and hip ratio~ <3

Hey guys!

Here's a mod I did by splicing 2 SABR's I got together. They aren't painted, or OM's. I cut off the brown/black parts and exchanged them. This was a pretty hard mod as I only had an exacto blade, a sanding stick and some superglue. I found the pump handle hardest to mod.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,

picking up pieces ….

I had a body sitting around so it seemed rude not to get a head lol. No more floating heads or spare bodies now, maybe it'll kerb my spending for while...:D

Thank you Emma, I love her!

Last shot this series at Howard Smith Wharves/Felons Brewing of a rather unusual mural. By Dkashtalyan.

Just a fun mod I threw together a few weeks back but haven't had time to post!

Some photos taken during an IRS railtour of the internal network at MOD Longtown, Cumbria on a sunny 14th May 1982.

Our transport for the railtour was AD9128, a Baguley – Drewry railcar works number 3744 supplied just 6 years earlier and which I think still remains on site here.

Ok girls! Get in close and everyone say cheese!

Details showing some of my hand quilting stitches. I did the bare minimum stitch in the ditch to secure the layers, but really wanted to hand quilt this quilt. I made lots of progress over 2 weeks, but lost my rhythm - have to get back to it, it's fun!
