This was a commissioned piece, just finished yesserday. I took waay too long over this one, but it was for a friend so it wasn't overly urgent.

Essentially, all he wanted was a steampunk Nerf Longstrike; but I went a lil' bit extra and sleeked out the internals, removing the AR and replacing some of the barrel with aluminium piping.

To be honest though, the most fun I had with this was towards the end with (yeeeep, you guessed it!) weathering! I came up with a neato technique for beating up the gold: by using black shoe polish, I covered the whole gold area(s) with black. Once the polish had dried, i took a piece of kitchen roll and rubbed off as much as I could; leaving recesses and interesting parts with black residue, as if they'd been around and about for a while.

My husband thinks it's retro, but I love the colors.

xD Eui spam.

T//w//T I love how easy they are to photograph~

Still working on their horn but now i'm kind of considering making Faustus and Etzel new horns as well that are more accurate to their characters. The horn Soom Shale has was always too long for Faustus but I just dealt with it and also scaled dolly Calliope's/Etzel's horns similarly as cannon they are around the same length. Euclid's horn is canonically thinner and longer though so If I was to scale it in comparison to Faustus's current horn Euclid's would be really really long and not only would that be annoying to deal with I'm not sure a small magnet would hold it properly either. Hmm, what to do what to do...

I really love this set and design, so I changed extremely little: I added spokes to the wheels (using the extra-lippy wheels that it came with), and I fully enclosed the cabin in glass. I'm not even sure I'm sold on it looking BETTER with the extra glass per se, but it was a proof of concept for the idea that I later used on the Oldsmobile builds.

Hey guys!

Here's a mod I did by splicing 2 SABR's I got together. They aren't painted, or OM's. I cut off the brown/black parts and exchanged them. This was a pretty hard mod as I only had an exacto blade, a sanding stick and some superglue. I found the pump handle hardest to mod.

Thanks for looking!

Here's the pictures for my 75218 X-Wing MOD.

It's 843 parts.

I optimized the build to reduce the number of part you would need to buy.

It's not the definitive edition, the space between the opening system and the only rubber band create a torque that slightly bend the wings when in the attack position. I'm building the same MOD for 75102 Poe's X-Wing and I will try to resolve this issue, if it work I will update this one and release the files and instructions for free.

The front part is surprizingly sturdy. But it use illegal technique in the way that some part are stressed. I used tolerance and deformation of parts to achieve this build.

Unfortunetly in Stud.io there isn't the new helmet, so I made my design with the old one (I prefer this one anyway) and when it come to build it I realize the new helmet was too big and prevents to close the windscreen, my bad.
