Princess Leia sort of broke the mold of the traditional "Princess in Peril" cliche. From the getgo she's gunning down Stormtroopers and talking trash to the most feared men in the galaxy and then there's her not-so-subtle comments aimed at her rescuers.
This shot kicks off another retrospective similar to the Crisis of Infinite Batmen earlier this month. This time we're looking at the various Princess Leias from Kenner's eight year run, and what better version to start with? I based this shot off the still used for the original '77 cardback. Never realized they used the same radar screens in the Yavin war room as they did for Echo Base in Empire.

Poor Chewie finally gets his own shot. Similar to Vader and the Stormtrooper there was only one version of Chewbacca throughout the eight year run of the classic Star Wars line. Still I think he holds up prety well to even the ROTJ figures.

I've only made a few small modifications and put a retractable landing gear on it.
My USC scale Falcon. The lego interior has been completely removed and I did a custom version. This is going to be in my new Hoth layout.
Been wanting to do this one since I first got Endor Leia back in the day... Back in the day six months ago. Anyway, just a simple repaint and probably a little too "accurate" for Vintage even with the limited color palet, but I wanted to see how well she could look sans poncho. Its a decent sculpt but the original colors do nothing for it. I have to get her a new belt though as right now she's just borrowing one for the shot.
