"An Imperial probe droid."
"It's a good bet the Empire knows we're here."
―Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo.
A probe droid, also known as a recon droid or probot, was a type of droid that could be used for deep space exploration and reconnaissance. They were tenacious hunters and searchers and used manipulator arms to perform various tasks. Notable models included the DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid and the Viper probe droid. They could be equipped with both shields and blasters.
The Sith Lord Darth Maul employed three DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droids to search for the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi on the planet Tatooine.
To locate the Rebel Alliance's secret base after they evacuated from Yavin 4, the Galactic Empire began Project Swarm, which saw probes sent out to find the hidden base.Eventually, XJ9-CS14, a Viper model having arrived on the planet Hoth from its carrier, began to transmit a live feed of what appeared to be a power generator to the Empire, leading to an attack on Echo Base a short time later. The droid, however, was intercepted by Han Solo prior to the invasion, warning the Alliance and giving them some time to prepare.
TIE fighter pilots, also known as TIE pilots or Imperial Starfighter Pilots, were an elite class within the military of the Galactic Empire. They piloted the TIE line series of starfighters, a line that includes the TIE/ln space superiority starfighter, which was one of the Empire's most recognizable symbols of power, the TIE/sa bomber and TIE/IN interceptor.
There were two nicknames for TIE pilots: the vac-heads, who operated in space for the Empire's Imperial Navy, and the ground-hogs, who operated in planetary atmosphere for the Imperial Army. Because the vac-heads had better public recognition through propaganda posters and the HoloNet News reports, the ground-hogs were often resentful of them. The rivalry between ground-hogs and vac-heads was so intense that most Imperial flight bases had separate bars for the two groups, with the notable exception of the Bright Jewel Oversector Flight Base.
The precision and streamlined design of the TIE fighter was a source of pride for those pilots, who prided themselves for usually not needing deflector shields or hyperdrives, which they viewed as tools for the cowardly. Since TIE fighters were identical and interchangeable,
TIE pilots might never fly the same ship twice and, as a result, rarely developed emotional ties to their craft Nonetheless, they tended to be very protective of their vessel of the day, and loved to push around lower-ranked stormtroopers. Very dedicated, TIE pilots were willing to surrender their lives for the greater glory of the Empire's New Order.
TIE fighter pilots could also engage in surface combat, with Squad Five participating in a skirmish on Nar Shaddaa.
Dathomir Imperial Prison was an Imperial prison complex located on the planet Dathomir in the Outer Rim sometime during the Galactic Civil War. The complex was overseen by Warden Vinzel Haylon.

A shot of the planet closer up with the ship flying towards the surface. The ship flies down across a farm and passes by a white worker droid, who watches the ship. Cuts to a young Jyn Erso running across the rocky plain with the ship following behind her...."
Testing new starfighter models in the TIE hangar bay 62-N9 was a hangar aboard Death Star I used as a docking bay for TIE/LN starfighters.
This hangar featured a TIE hangar rack capable of holding up to seventy-two TIE fighters in individual, ceiling-mounted berths.

Promotional text from the 1977 and 1978 Press Kits (with promotional images, remake with Lego bricks).
From now on, I will make images that appear in my 1977 sticker album (Spanish edition).
At the end of 1977, the Spanish publishing house Pacosa Dos Internacional acquired the rights to distribute in Spain the first sticker album related to the movie Star Wars, a film produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by 20th Century Fox a few months earlier. .
This album consisted of a total of 181 in full color and could be purchased at newsstands and grocery stores at a price of 15 pesetas. Most of these stickers were printed with a frame from the film itself, although we could also find a few in which the main actors appeared posing in the typical photographic set.
Next to each of the stickers we found the number assigned to the sticker within the collection and a small description of what the scene or character in question shows.
I hope you like them.
It's the 14th day of Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar and the micro Millennium Falcon is flying across the clouds, looking for adventure and a safe harbor.
We all know the legendary Falcon has not a good rapport with cities among the clouds but maybe this time all will go as planned :)
The background image is one of my sunset photos, with a little HDR effect :)
May The Brick be with You :)
Millennium Falcon micro dioramas series - 8th creation.
This scene is extracted from StarWars VII The Force Awakens.
This shot is without photoshop effects.
You can also see in my gallery the first 7 builds of the series.
Comments and critics are always welcome.
A build for my series of Star Wars 32x32 builds. Based on the official 7778 Midi-scale Millenium Falcon that I'm quite fond of. As you can see some pars are missing. It would be nice to replace them and give the model an update.
"Smugglers can handle just about anything-they fly through asteroid fields, play tag with nebulas and space storms, and they can land on anything. Nothing fazes a good smuggler. I've seen them land ships while fighting uneven gravity fields on asteroids barely bigger than their vessels. Gravity shifts, atmospheric turbulence, sandstorms, blizzards, typhoons...you name it, they know how to handle it."

Tatooine orbits two main sequence binary stars and it has three moons, Ghomrassen, Guermessa and Chenini.
"Affirmative, AT-ST support is on the way."
―An Imperial technician
The All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST), also known as a Scout Transport, Scout Walker, or derisively as a chicken walker, was a lightweight, bipedal walker used by the ground forces of the Galactic Empire. Later, the First Order used an updated variant of the AT-ST within their military.
This is far and away the most complicated set up I've attempted. It was very tricky to shoot, and although the end result isn't quite what I had in mind when I started, it isn't too far off.
Partly lit by my Darth Vader desk lamp...
Not 100% happy with this one(but it feels like ages since I've uploaded anything). Either the figure needs to be integrated into the scene or the Falcon needs to pop out more (probably abit of both).
I added a few filters on just to kinda make it look like a work-print, or deleted scene.
Happy summer from my Mediterranean Sea.
My first photos shoot with Legos, this was one of the first sets of my children. August 2015.
"Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope."
―Princess Leia Organa in a hologram message.
The Rescue of Princess Leia was a mission to rescue Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan during the Galactic Civil War. The rescue followed a battle on Tatooine, after which the Millennium Falcon made its way to Alderaan so Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and R2-D2 could deliver stolen Death Star plans to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. En route to Alderaan, however, the Galactic Empire destroyed the planet. The Millennium Falcon was captured by the Death Star while in the remains of Alderaan, leading the ship's crew, Han Solo and Chewbacca, to hide with their passengers.
In order to escape, Solo and Skywalker posed as stormtroopers, allowing the group to make their way to a hiding place within the Death Star. After Kenobi left the group to shut down the station's tractor beam, R2-D2 discovered that Princess Leia, who had provided the droid with the Death Star plans, was aboard the station, being held within Detention Block AA-23. The group decided to rescue the princess and made their way to the detention center, with Chewbacca in binders as their "prisoner." They "rescued" Organa, but were subsequently protected by the clearly capable princess, and fought their way throughout the station and back to the Millennium Falcon, while Kenobi successfully disabled the tractor beam.
Kenobi soon came face to face with Darth Vader, who had been his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, before falling to the dark side and becoming a Dark Lord of the Sith. The two faced off in one final lightsaber duel, their first encounter since their duel on Mustafar nineteen years prior. Kenobi sacrificed himself to give Skywalker and the others a chance to escape, and achieved eternal consciousness after his death. The Millennium Falcon was able to flee the station and was pursued by a group of TIE/ln space superiority starfighters, which the crew managed to destroy. The Empire was tracking the Falcon, however, and followed it to Yavin 4, leading to the Battle of Yavin and the destruction of the Death Star.
So I tried my best to figure out the details, but those leaked pics weren't very clear, and Solo looked really small. It seems like he's basically the same, but with a brown jacket? Either way, I want this movie to come out right now! I want these sets to come out now! December is too far away
UPDATED! Now with the correct decals AND new sensor array
Boeing 747-443, msn 32338 LN 1274, ex Virgin Falcon (G-VLIP) still keeps Virgin livery but is in proccess of being stripped of Starwars Falcon. Destined for parts this giant will probably be scrapped soon.
This is not a cave! Han and Leya escape before the Millennium Falcon is digested by the space slug.
I'm participating in vignweek hosted by RebelLUG, a contest where you have to build a vignette every day for a week. The theme for the fifth day is to build a space scene, so here's my entry!
Chapter 9: The Marsha; is the first episode of the second season of the television series The Mandalorian. The episode was written and directed by Jon Favreau, and aired on Disney+ on October 30, 2020.
"The two travel to the krayt dragon's lair, with Din riding his Zephyr-J speeder bike and Vanth riding a contraption made from a modified podracer engine. While riding through the dunes, Vanth explains that Mos Pelgo was on its "last legs" shortly after they got news about the second Death Star's destruction. While residents had cheered the Battle of Endor and the withdrawal of Imperial forces from Tatooine, their celebration was short-lived because the Mining Collective took advantage of the power vacuum to invade Mos Pelgo and turn it into a slave camp overnight. That night, Vanth had managed to escape with a camtono carrying silicax crystals.
Vanth explained that he had wandered for days with no food and water when he encountered a Jawa sandcrawler. The Jawas saved his life in return for the camtono of silicate crystals. In addition to the full waterskin, Vanth used the crystals to obtain a suit of Mandalorian armor. Armed with the armor and ammunition, he expelled the Mining Collective from Mos Pelgo, using the rocket in his jetpack to destroy the fleeing thugs and their landspeeder"

I spent a little time the other day and weathered my Falcon a bit. I'm only done with the top half, but I think it makes the BMF look a lot more movie accurate.
