Day 6 Kickstart Class. Used supplies on hand. Shopped my own stash. GlitterRitz on Be Creative tape, both background & tree. It sparkles IRL. Used red glitter and warm white. Did not paint with markers this time.
I made this one for a friend. Playing with lots of glitter. :) I made a sandwich: cardstock-be creative double stick tape-cardstock-be creative tape. I then die cut the Memory Box thanks script into the tape side. It didn't cut all the way through, and the thanks could be peeled off. I think I used Royal Blue glitter ritz microfine glitter for the thanks and burnished it in. then peeled the rest of the liner off and used silver glitter and burnished it in. Cut the Memory Box tessatina border twice out of hero hues paper for the background. Butterfly is Memory Box Darla and Vivienne Butterflies out of hero hues paper and accented with Ranger stickles in silver and true blue. Card is actually white, but picture is dark.

This is one of 6 art journaling pages I created. These pages will be turned into gift journals and will eventually have stitching and fabric on them with pages inside. I an sharing 2 pages a week, and then sharing the finished journals the 4th week (on Nov. 8th). Each page shares a quote from Dr. Henrietta Mears—one of the great Bible teachers. Today’s quote says:
Quote by Dr. Henrietta Mears: "All that I see teaches me to thank the Creator for all I cannot see."

This is an 8x8 page I created using new Memory Box dies along with Memory Box papers. This page is of one of my daughter’s at the stables last week. Thankfully, the weather was nicer as we have had to miss some riding time due to ice and other fun winter weather events. I also used the beautiful, new Blue Fern Studios chipboard frame on this page. To see more details and close-up photos, please see my Memory Box post here:
