Memory Box Jasper Leaves Die with MFT Hello word and PB Butterfly. Background is a Vellum paper in center. TFL!

For today's card, I decided to play with a paint chip. I had a scrap piece of Memory Box Brioche paper lying around, and I also had a paint chip that matched the paper. I thought it would be fun to mask the paint chip and use two of the new Memory Box background stamps (Mercer Rose and Mail Definitions backgrounds) to fill in the color chips. To see complete details, please see my post here:

The background (on top of the Memory Box card) is half a page from an old copy of The Secret Garden. I created the stripes with Ancient Page ink in in Pink Pizzazz. The background flowers are Inkadinkado. The sentiment is from The Angel Company and pink shape is Bazzill Basics cut with a Spellbinders die. The focal point was created with a page from one of my kids' old math book, inks, and a Magenta stamp that was embossed. The flower's center is created with little plastic embellishments of some sort.

I made a bunch of bird cards with punches yesterday - more on my photostream.

Thanks for looking :)

This week's Etsy Inspired Challenge is sponsored by Inchie Arts and the design team got a great sample of Inchies to create with. My card is inspired by some fabulous Vintage Bird Printed Cookies form Queen of Arts Cakes.

I used last week's Twisted Sketch for my layout together with Butterflies & Birds from Inkadinkado, yummy Memory Box holiday papers, and a white sticker sentiment from SRM Stickers. I love how these squares take the chalk ink ... such perfect coverage and deep color.

Join the fun at Etsy Inspired this week & you might win a $25 prize package from Inchie Arts or some fabulous wafer papers to make your own fabulous decorated sugar cookies from Queen of Arts Cakes.

This is an 8x8 layout I did for Memory Box Co. We are debuting the new “What’s in the Box 2012” this week. The new Viola papers matched the pictures of our Texas Mountain Laurel perfectly so I thought it would be fun to scrap! Come on over to the DT blog and leave a comment for your chance to win some of the new goodies! You can see my post here:

Well, our family is moving. We are moving about 1,100 miles away. My hubby has already moved and is looking at houses with our realtor as I type this. It is killing me not to be able to look with him. So to keep myself occupied, I decided to play with a "we've moved" card, and this is how it turned out. To see complete details on how I created it along with a close-up photo, please see my post here:
