Mustang Memories 2012
August 12, 2012
My 2004 40th Anniversary Crimson Red GT Convertible and my daughter's 2005 red Power Wheels GT Convertible. Great show, huge turnout compared to last year with the threat of rain. My rear tires and rev limiter got three great workouts. Thanks to MOCSEM for a great car show.

My mom has started including old photos in cards she sends and my collection keeps growing. I need to scan them so I can have them digitized, just in case. It never ceases to amaze me how many memories a photograph can bring back.
Taken in early October 2001 with a Yashica OM10 on 200 speed color film, scanned, and converted to b&w in 2011.
"On the morning of September 11, 2001 I was on my way to a class...."
Precious memories, unseen angels
Sent from somewhere to my soul
How they linger, ever near me
And the sacred scenes unfold.
Precious memories, how they linger
How they ever flood my soul
In the stillness of the midnight
Precious, sacred scenes unfold.
Precious father, loving mother
Fly across the lonely years
And old home scenes of my childhood
In fond memory appear.
In the stillness of the midnight
Echoes from the past I hear
Old-time singing, gladness bringing
From that lovely land somewhere.
I remember mother praying
Father, too, on bended knee
Sun is sinking, shadows falling
But their prayers still follow me.
As I travel on life's pathway
Know not what the years may hold
As I ponder, hope grows fonder
Precious memories flood my soul.

Lovely Christmas memories of visiting our daughter Jane who was living in Vienna. A wonderful place all year round but magical at Christmas!
19 years of memories past, and only so many more to go
Time flies by fast and like mad. But I love going through old photos. It's relaxing to sit and just laugh at the random memories created and saved by evidence, aha.
Taken yesterday, edited this morning. The colour here doesn't do the photo justice. Meh. 2 exams to go, then freedom :) And finally, more experimentation. :D
Many exciting shoots on the way, stay tuned. I promise to be back after Wednesday (last exam).
In the meantime, please check out my facebook fanpage!

RIP My beautiful wife Queenie (1968-2022)
somehow i thought this package was already lost in the mail... especially since i saw how the Xeons arrived in the mail a few days back (not insured or such)...
But... it seems my package with the true value written on the outside got held up at the border and i had to pay taxes on it...
Well... that's better than getting lost in total, right?
So, I think this was the last part for my never ending server number two, i better get going now and colocate this thing! ^_^
Pay no attention to the cliche title!

I always seek out the stunning and memorable views when on vacation.
Compare this picture with my old upload 'Memory from Loimaa' and corresponding photos from Google Maps.
You must agree that this time my photo is much nicer than Google's.

Flickr Map work like crap nowadays. Google Maps
show you the location:

Curiously, in this case (and presently) Flicr maps work quite well. Because it looks like no-one else except me have ever posted a photo from this area to Flickr.
