I've just doubled the memory in my macbook as I've found a really helpful piece of software called Scrivener that I think will be very useful for writing my thesis.
This is a quick macro shot taken of the SODIMMS that I replaced, and I wanted quite an intensive processing style to the image as I've not really been heavy handed with my images lately.
If I find that I'm using my mac more and more for my thesis I may well have to stump up for a complete new macbook, but for the time being my old macbook seems to just keep plodding on quite happily.
I've no idea how much official Apple RAM sells for, but I managed to get 4Gb of RAM for £40 that seems to be working quite happily in the system at the moment.

Whilst scanning old photos for a separate project, I came across this one of me in my pram as a baby, but I was more fascinated by what's in the shop window behind me!
I have not-so-fond memories of Izal Medicated Toilet Paper which scratched one's nether regions - compared with today's 'quilted double velvet', it was torture!
Taken by the remains of the banking at Brooklands Museum, last summer. This conjures up memories of Bentleys thundering around the old circuit, with only their determination to see them through.
