I was never so beautiful as my dreams were........
During one of those " Under the affuence of incohol " conversations with two friends, brothers in fact,
the chat turned to dreams, after much thought provoking and quite serious supposition and theory expounding, i casually said, "In reality it is all probably just inconsequential sleep memory" ....... it didn't go down quite as well as the beer had. ;-))
Another two images recycled......................

Yes, I do remember that day, the last holiday with French friends before Covid time, a picnic with them in a meadow of the Roussillon.
There I found this lovely wild succulent plant, I took a little branch of this for my balcony.
And now this is the first blooming at home!
I don't know its name, I add a picture in the comments for helping the ID.
Smile on Saturday with Memories ;-)

Macro Mondays "Souvenirs"
These ceramic cigar pipes were brought from Nepal when I visited Nepal in 1993. These are my precious ornaments I collected visiting the other countries . The bigger cat face is cracked and I have pasted it.
Size : 3"x 3"
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view, comment, and fave my photos.
This box was my Mom's full of memories of my Dad (1911-1978) from a child to WW II with letters, pictures, bible from his Mom when he went to the war and metals.
Smile on Saturday.
Full of Memories.
we make our way
to a hill beside the sea
with salt in the air
and sand on our feet
we fought the sun
as a burn upon our skin
these ♬♪ memories will stay with me ♬♪

The National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne. I have fond memories of this place as a child - the large glass windows at the main entrance have water flowing over them, which just gives this great 'painted' effect when you look through.
I have a vague memory of riding a train pulled by one of these engines. I think it was when I was about 5 and my parents divorced. My mother, brother and I moved back to Washington from SoCal to live with my grandparents for a while.
Shot at the Niles Canyon Railway maintenance facility near Sunol, California.
This house stood in back of my dear friend Larry's house. Larry recently left this life, and I am posting this in memory of this amazing person, who I miss so very much.
I took this picture a long time ago. When i was 12 to be exact. I took it on a old camera that still used film and i remember my grandmother yelling at me after because she thought i was pointing the camera into nowhere and wasting film. Which was pretty expensive to develop but as you can see the picture turned out really well, at least i think so. Dont let yourself be put down by others and keeping doing what you are doing! It might pay off one day! I wish everybody a great 2019.

Many years ago, my neighbor had a large fence covered in Morning Glories. I remember that in the mornings, while I drank my coffee, the flowers were already open and displaying their full beauty; there were pink ones and white ones. Robins were also the first birds to sing and appear in the area. Now, neither the fence nor the flowers remain, and robins are becoming increasingly scarce. I cherish fond memories of that time.
On/Off -Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to comment! It is greatly appreciated!
Today's Smile on Saturday theme is full of memories. A very interesting theme, but hard for me. I have so many wonderful memories. Many of them revolve around our boat and the family and friends who joined us cruising. But even limiting myself to boating photos, there were so many truly awesome places that we visited, I couldn't chose one. So I chose this one - an everyday type of place and scene. Put it in mono since it's a memory now, as is our boat, which we sold in early 2020.
