"There are days when I swear I could fly like an eagle

And dark desperate hours that nobody sees

My arms stretched triumphant on top of the mountain

My head in my hands... down on my knees"

Some of you out there are going through a tough time right now & I wish there was something I could do - I've been there too, sometimes life's a bitch, it's those other times that let us carry on.

I got some grain here, not sure why. I wore my WLF out on this camera so I picked up a nice chimney finder cheap and have loved it! It's quite the under rated finder but does make this already big camera impossible to fit in a camera bag.

I also snagged an extra long cable release, you can see it wound up next to the camera. I want more pictures of Will and myself and this is the perfect tool to get that done. Hit the plunger and the camera advances for me!

Sometimes, just sometimes, I don't mind a little flare, especially when the colors are fun and I love Tulips and my Mamiya and Velvia too much to ignore.

Note: This is what happens when film comes off the reels in the tank while being processed: it clumps together not allowing the developer to flow freely and, for the most part, ruining most of the shots on the film... And sometimes the film gods smile down and cut you some slack. (Some exposure work was done in Lightroom, otherwise this image is as it came out of the tank.)

This little beauty arrived in the post this morning, it belongs to PentaxJunkie. He's very kindly given afew of us over on myspace the opportunity to play around with it. Basically, you receive the camera in the post, shoot afew rolls with it & then post it on to the next person on the list.

Its made afew pit stops around the states over the last few months, now it's on the first leg of its european tour, i can't wait to give it a go :-)

Uncut demonstraters nearly made it into the Arndale, until security reversed the escalators. Police and security guards make sure they leave.

This game of cat and mouse went on for some time and appeared to be done in good humour.
