Uncut demonstraters nearly made it into the Arndale, until security reversed the escalators. Police and security guards make sure they leave.

This game of cat and mouse went on for some time and appeared to be done in good humour.

Christmas 2014 my friend and I took a trip to Lativa. We chose Latvia as we both worked on cruise ships as photographers when younger and wanted to go somewhere neither of us had been in Europe.. which was kind of tricky. Latvia was beautiful, tasteful art and good food. We drove across the country looking for things to do and forests to photograph. Everywhere was so silent, some days we would barely see another human or car. Everywhere was still and beautifully eerie.

This rig is actually very well balanced. I was out for a walk this afternoon in light snow and -12 C, with some TMY 400 ASA rolls to take some handheld shots. It felt good and worked out nicely.
