Veal and ricotta. The first time I ordered meatballs in a restaurant and probably the last. They were OK.
I didn’t feel like making a cheese substitute, hence it is just meatballs (recipe from “Vegan on the Cheap) and marinara sauce, along with a sprinkle of a few spices.
Very savory and satisfying.

I received a lovely note from Meatball's mom...she sent photos and an update!
Dear Sherrie:
As I am thankful to you for taking such wonderful care of Meatball, I am happy to report that he has a new and very special best friend. In November, we adopted a 4 month special needs kitten from the Castaway Critters, an all foster rescue organization. Our kitten, Jingle, was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, the same disorder that affects Shy and Chrissy. He and Meatball sleep together, groom each other and Meatball enjoys all the kitten's new toys. (The Turbo scratcher and collapsible cubes are his favorites.) Although Meatball, the cowardly lion as I call him, has the the courage to leave the basement playroom to explore, he actually still prefers and retreats to the basement. Even though he is disabled, Jingle still has the mind of a kitten but his body/motor skills can't keep up. So at night for safety, Jingle and Meatball sleep in the basement playroom.

Hope you enjoy the pictures. Anyone who has loved Meatball Monday will agree they are so very cute.
Love,
Meatball's Mom
The tile is currently being redone in Special Needs Room#2 so all my Monday night shelter friends have been moved to Special Needs Room#3. They are settling in quite nicely, as you can tell by the Meatball Man here!
Teochew (meatball only) noodles(special order) from a nearby coffeeshop.
The dry version may also be served with (all inclusive) minced meat, fishball, fishcake and 鱼饺.
Singaporeans get alot of their food from everywhere, especially from affordable coffeeshops/hawker centres around the island!
This noodle is the dry version(~with tomato sauce + chilli paste); so there is also a soup-base version which is usually subtle in taste and contains fishballs.
In both versions, the noodle is served with beansprouts, spring onions and scallions.
A small dip-saucer of soy sauce with red chilli padi is served along with it.
lines aren't quite as straight as TBDBITL
