El estrellato es algo que varios anhelan y están conscientes de lo atrevido que es dejar una realidad por un sueño, el viajar a lugares muy lejanos de un hogar y abandonar el confort, y en ocasiones sin tener la certeza de que se lograra.
Desde Hermosillo Sonora, la parte norte de nuestro país, a unos kilómetros del país vecino, Estados Unidos, Yuridia Gaxiola Flores, emigró con su familia a dicho país, y en el transcurso intento afinar un talento que de familia ya traía, solo era cuestión de buscar y encontrar la oportunidad, pero la oportunidad no estaba fuera del país, sino dentro, en la gran capital de la Ciudad de México.
Fue entonces cuando participó en un reality de la televisión mexicana, en el cual quedó en la segunda posición y se hizo acreedora a los premios que el programa ofrecía, entre ellos un contrato discográfico.
En el 2005 sacó su primer álbum de estudio “La voz de un ángel” el sencillo de este disco es el tema “Ángel” cover al español de la canción original de Robbie Williams. Este disco en pocas semanas ganó disco de oro y llegó a ser disco de diamante, y hasta ahora, es un álbum que ha venido 1, 000,000 de copias. “Habla el corazón” fue su segundo material discográfico, que incluía temas de los 80´s traducidas al español, como “Eclipse total del amor” y “Como yo nadie te ha amado”, este disco fue certificado como disco de platino. Para su tercer disco, el material fue en colaboración con Mario Domm (Camila) Reyli Barba y Noel Schajiris (Sin Bandera) el cual incluía temas de su puño y letra como “Yo por Él” “Ahora Entendí”. Este disco certificó disco de oro y dos discos de platino.
Antes del cuarto disco, Yuridia habría de presentarse por primera vez en su faceta de solitario, con dos fechas llenas. El disco “Nada es color de rosa” incluía el tema “Irremediable” como sencillo, logrando 80, 000 descargas en su lanzamiento.
En este transcurso, Yuridia ya había agotado las localidades en la Arena Monterrey y el Auditorio Nacional. Reyli Barba, quien ya había trabajado con ella, cantó el tema “¿Qué nos pasó? Y a los pocos meses Yuridia saco su sencillo “Ya te olvide” original de Roció Durcal, que tiene más de 1, 000, 000 de vistas en YouTube
Fue en un palenque de Puebla, que ella haría mención de lo que es hasta ahorita su más reciente producción, su sexto material, titulado de igual forma “6” que sacó sus sencillos “Ya es muy tarde” “Te equivocaste” y “Cobarde” y precisamente nuestra ciudad tendrá el recibimiento de esta talentosa mujer.
El 12 MAYO, en el Complejo Cultural Universitario, Yuridia se presentara con sus temas que la hicieron la artista que es con su hermosa voz, y con esa esencia de su persona que tiene con su público que la caracteriza. Yuridia en Puebla.

This is a photograph from the first annual running of the Rás na Rí 5KM Road Race, Fun Run, and Walk which was held at Seneschalstown GFC, Beauparc, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland on Saturday March 15th 2014 at 12:00. The event was promoted by Duleek and District Athletic Club. Car parking, changing rooms, showers, and refreshments were provided in the GAA club.
Timing and event management was provided by Precision Timing. The race starts about 1KM from the race HQ at the lovely setting of Beauparc Railway Crossing on the old Navan-Drogheda railway line (race start here goo.gl/maps/SVWWY). The race proceeds in an anti-clockwise left handed loop, following the L1600, and passing the GAA grounds before taking a left to Dollardstown, to Yellow Furze, and bringing runners back to the start area at Beauparc for the final kilometer of the race back to the finish. The organisation was perfect for the race. All road junctions were properly stewarded. The kilometer markers were clear to see and there was lots of room for runners entering the finish area. Excellent work by the race committee. The race acted as fund raiser for the local Knockcommon National School (Scoil Naoimh Pio), Beauparc, Co Meath

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
