A triple mashup: Death from "The Endless" (DC Comics); carrying a scythe with a "Black Lantern" symbol (from DC Comics' "Blackest Night"); with a skeleton of Dex-Starr (DC Comics "Red Lanterns" - he did get killed at one point but got better). Very cool idea.
I used Nik Software's Color Efex Pro - Tonal Contrast / Pro Contrast / Dynamic Skin Softener and Dfine filters along with B&W layer with sepia toning, a B&W Gradient Map layer, and "Burnt Edges" vignette action in PS.
My Bollywood band, "SurPal" entertaining a wedding party by a rich mix of Bollywood wedding themed songs! "Like" my band's Facebook page - "SurPal"
Mods used for the mashup (+personal texture edits): pants, boots - Eli’s Sleeveless Outfits (VANILLA and CBBE) by Elianora; Maxson’s cut-off coat - The Casual Wanderer - Standalone Armors by Evermarch; Scarf - CROSS Uni Scarf by Niero; Rifle on back - combat gear semi upgrade for wearable backpack by nhimkoko; Kellog’s gloves - Gloves of the Commonwealth - Equippable Gloves by fadingsignal; Pouches - Wearable Backpacks and Pouches by Aldebaran90 and Stndmunki.
In a new twist as I return to my roots, I've started abstract collaging again. Only this time, instead of using my fractal work as the source material, I've invited myself to use the Visual Mashups pool!
It took a lot of work to get them to work, I was surprised. I'm not sure they are a better set than my first four Abstract Fractal collages. What do you think?

Slowed it down this month. Sorry for my absence of late but just taking a breather…finally got myself some ND filters so hopefully will get some LE shots soon and get back into some photography action, haven't taken them for a test drive yet. Though as you can see I'm still trudging through my iPhone 365, the second half of Feb was getting a tad uninspired.

When on the of the Rockefeller center I was gobsmacked by the view, and all the activity below, when I saw a building platform my intention was to photograph it and zooming in at different zoom levels and make a triptych of it.
When I started today on it I decided to try something different and paste two different shot is a global shot. Maybe the triptych will come eventually.

Merged in a shot of Empire State Building from the lower deck into the layer, sized to approx. the same dimension, applied mask to this and masked away this merged on the foreground stone.

Mashup Camp featured "speed geeking," a fun term for an hour in which attendees ping-ponged from table to table in five-minute spurts to get a taste of the 30 or so mash-up applications on display.

Inspired by Picazzle's jigsaw collages I embarked on a couple of my own. Admittedly this would work better with more pieces per puzzle, but I wanted to stick with something less expensive for a first try. Eventually I hope to do more of these. I am calling them jigsaw mashups.
