Heat waves and torrential downpours have left the petals of most in the garden with the stain from the battle of our changing climate and they still fight on....will we do no less

Thank you for the visits and conversation!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR VIEWS, COMMENTS, FAVES AND INVITES.

Using a collaging process similar to the one I used to create my Abstract Collages, I combined a number of pieces from the VIsual Mashups group. Then seriously overprocessed the result using, amongst other tools, Photoshop's Liquefy.

Needs some work. Mainly textures. I'll fine tune the vest/shirt/bandolier parts so they don't clip, too. I think this needs some more parts, though. Not sure yet. Still early WiP stuff.

MANY THANKS FOR YOUR KIND ATTENTION! VIEWS, COMMENTS, FAVES AND INVITES ARE ALL APPRECIATED!

My first entry for the Grid Wars contest. I was really struggling with some early designs at a mashup I thought would come really easily to me. I nearly gave up but after several dead ends and pages of sketches I have two ships I happy with. I'll post more shots soon.

Two works: the stained glass panel is from the Naval Barracks "Kattegat" in Amsterdam by Jacoba van Heemskerck (1921-23).

The abstract in front is "Evolutie/Evolution" by Marjelein Witte (2019).

Although they are very different works of art, the straight line geometry binds them.

So I thought I'd modify the Abrams...

So, i did a bunch more sneaky stuff, to make this happen, to the point , i even had to delete the C button shortcut, to stop it glitching out and cloning everything multiple times, till it crashed 😅

Now you can see its purpose, also just ignore the green tiles that are leaching on the cabin 😧😧

I hope its apparent now, all the bits that led to this point from the other ships, certain parts made for some of the earlier ships, get recycled or upcycled and man, have i enjoyed this style and the original artists designs so much 😁😁

I endeavour to make better looking engines, as i continue to progress and as i look at more reference materials, cause its a confusing topic, they all look extremely different, also art can be vague in the more detailed areas and dark spots, so its hard to imagine what to fill in the blanks with and stay true to the rest of the design and avoid creating a mashup.

Ill get another angle or two and maybe try for a ship link up or two, if i can and then move on to the next one 😁

Anyways, i hope you enjoy as much as i do and have a great day 😁

so i managed to pick up a few of the new 2019-2020 dc cmf figs, and as much as i like to assemble a somewhat goldenage justice leauge, it's much better to use them as parts for any other dc fig

i would've also picked marvel, but i might save that for another day, or you can help me and tell me what kind of figs would you make out of these parts
