Midweek start to a #MoMo camping trip back to Goldstream. Managed to pick up kids with RV and be in colwood crawl (!) by 4pm. But the moods of these kids after exciting week of long social activity days— less than stellar behaviour as I struggle to set up, cook dinner, feed them etc. ah well. Bulldozers work to keep the brush out of fire's way and create a fire break to stop the flames from coming closer. A group of firefighters were on hand to make sure the fire didn't get far if it jumped.
Managed to get a pre-release Soundwave Deluxe Figure from ROTF Transformers Movie 2009.
Sadly there is a defect on the left thigh of this figure which is placed wrongly. However, I went on to repaint this figure, can't bother much about it. Can't wait to try painting this figure.

I managed to find an hour and a bit of decent light to test the new kit. More shots from Buckstones near the Pennine watershed. A great big, never ending cloud was blocking the sun so we drove around to Wessenden Head, just off the Isle of Skye road, again, near the Pennine Watershed. Extremely cold and gale force winds so I didn't linger long, I grabbed a few shots and moved on.
I managed to finagle it on. I LOVE IT! Will make it more permanent when I feel like sewing OR get a sewing machine, anyone have an old one they want to pass along????

Managed a good 10k walk with three friends last night, we were very conscious of the need for distancing but the fresh air plus conversation and camaraderie was a tonic for us all.

Thinking out chain tube stategy is a very worthwhile effort. In this case, both tubes are held with tube clamps. A bracket form the idler axle makes sure the tube does not interfere with the chains path anywhere, regardless of what chainring you are in.
