A twist on the magic bonnet shots i always seem to do! The RX8 is pillar-less so seemed like the ideal car to get this shot on.
Took this a while ago and put it on my facebook and forgot about it.
I wish i had a wide angle lens for this shot!
2 images layered together.
Be kind and tender to the Frog,
And do not call him names,
As ‘Slimy skin,’ or ‘Polly-wog,’
Or likewise ‘Ugly James,’
Or ‘Gape-a-grin,’ or ‘Toad-gone-wrong,’
Or ‘Billy Bandy-knees’:
The Frog is justly sensitive
To epithets like these.
No animal will more repay
A treatment kind and fair;
At least so lonely people say
Who keep a frog (and, by the way,
They are extremely rare).

At long last (for me!), my "FLORIDA MAGIC" is complete and available through "BLURB BOOKS".
You are cordially invited to enjoy the magic and beauty of a great American State through my photography and comments. A special section of the Book is dedicated to the Greek American Community of Tarpon Springs, which has made the Greek Spongers' Dodecanessian tradition famous and is responsible for the welfare of this lovely city.

Magic mushroom tea.
Mushroom tea is tea brewed from mushrooms. Mushroom tea is a generic term for tea brewed from any mushroom, but generally the term is used to refer to tea made from "magic mushrooms".
"Magic mushrooms" is a colloquial term for any mushrooms that contain a high concentration of psilocybine and psilocine. These chemicals cause hallucinations when taken.
Mushroom tea tends to affect the user after around 30 minutes of consumption. Users generally feel relaxed initially, then euphoric before the visualizations begin. This state usually lasts about five hours.
Mushroom tea can intensify existing emotions, as well as heighten a person's awareness.
Mushroom tea may be difficult to drink on its own, due to its unpleasant taste. Most users therefore drink mushroom tea as a mixture along with tea and spices.

The Minitel is a Videotex online service accessible through the telephone lines, and is considered one of the world's most successful pre-World Wide Web online services. It was launched in France in 1982 by the PTT (Poste, Téléphone et Télécommunications; divided since 1991 between France Télécom and La Poste). From its early days, users could make online purchases, make train reservations, check stock prices, search the telephone directory, have a mail box, and chat in a similar way to that now made possible by the Internet.
In February 2009, France Telecom indicated the Minitel network still had 10 million monthly connections, among which 1 million are on the 3611 (directory). France Telecom is planning to retire the service on 30 June 2012.[1]

Amanita muscaria is noted for its hallucinogenic properties, with its main psychoactive constituent being the compound muscimol.
Spotted these fungi along side the neighbourhood pond, as you see them above. I was clicking away, when all of a sudden, a woman came out of nowhere and asked me if I had staged this shot. Nope, I said, just found them like this. Click Click.
She then proceeded to tell me that she loves to stage all of her shots, and as I'm still clicking she steps over the chain link fence, bends down and re-arranges the top mushroom and finds a leaf to place beside it. There, she says, That's how I would stage it.
I'm smiling away, because I'm thinking...but Lady I wasn't finished with the first placement. Oh well, what can you do but smile at the fact that someone else is as eager and excited about taking a photograph. So, click click some more. See below.
I had so many passersby, stop and admire these beauties asking me what they were. Didn't know till today. Far Out Man...Mushroom soup anyone?
Dug this one out from June 2010 trip. I remember it was really hot and humid that night, know more June trips for me. Thanks everyone for looking.
Yesterday was magic. In the early afternoon, I cut paper birds with families as part of the village's Sinterklaas festivities, then had a birthday lunch with a dear friend from out of town and her mother, then did live portrait sittings for a couple of hours, and then my opening-- fifty papercuttings in blue, black, and grey of so many things I love. I noticed this little spark of light as the first family sat down to cut their birds. More to come...
Create a magical world and put on a show with animated puppets, lights, sounds and motion! We are developing a mobile theater for various storytelling experiments under way at Pataphysical Studios. We hope to perform our first play this fall, during our Dada exhibit at the Canessa Gallery in North Beach.
Tentatively called ‘Ubu’s Dreams’, this shadow puppet presentation would feature Père Ubu, the hero of Alfred Jarry’s surreal plays at the turn of the last century. The premise is that Ubu is constantly dreaming, interacting with archetypal characters from diverse myths and legends, connecting us with our collective unconscious.
We now propose to flesh out this idea by acting out a couple short sketches in coming weeks. Some of the first sketches illustrated in this mockup could include traditional shadow puppets in the balinese tradition, which we can laser cut as wood figures -- while other sketches could combine physical objects with digital images, as we are doing with ‘Violet’s Journey’, our duck robot fairy tale.

Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen..

I never planned to collect the Magic Attic Club dolls. Even as a kid when I used to get their catalog I only ever considered getting Megan and her princess dress but I wanted AG dolls more. A couple of years ago I decided to read the series and around the same time found a Rose doll at the thrift store. After reading the books if I was going to get one doll it would have been Rose so I was excited to find her although she only had on a holiday party dress and nothing else. I kept meaning to buy her a full outfit but never got around to it and she just kind of hung around with other mismatched dolls. Over the summer (2015) while at the thrift store one night I found Megan, Alison, and Heather in absolute mint condition for $7 each. There was no way I was leaving them behind. I pulled out my Rose and she joined her friends. I was able to get her complete basic outfit pretty cheap on Ebay which just left Keisha as the last one I needed. After finding a gorgeous, minty Keisha on Ebay 2 weeks ago she arrived last Wednesday and my collection is complete. I just started a new job and it has been so rainy that today was the first day I had a chance to take a picture. I love them all but Keisha and Rose are my favorites. The only thing I still need is three more key necklaces.
"Mundo mágico" y maravilloso. El parque de atracciones del fondo, se llamaba asi... y me pareció un tÃtulo perfecto.
My 500th flickr photo. :)
The fireworks show at Magic Kingdom is without question one of the most impressive displays I've ever seen. I'm definitely happy to have gotten this photograph given the size of the crowd around me... it captures well the feeling of magic.

This was around mid-night and it was quiet and peaceful on the street while the snow kept coming down in flurries. Magic.
Little late for a fireworks Friday post. But there was a live video stream on today for the 24 hr Monstrous Summer Blast at Magic Kingdom. And what was so cool was that my nephews wife and my 2 Great Great nieces were at Magic Kingdom for the 24 hr blast and they were waving at me and talking to me on the phone while I was watching them on tv at Magic Kingdom, It was so cool. They made this old man very happy.
Taiwan - left. Philippines- right.
Look how their hair are differently styled. Taiwan box background is metallic magenta, Philippine is mat, less pink, much red. Also Philippine doll's hands are secured, while Taiwan are free (however it's note the rule - I have seen many different variations). Fabrics used are not the same as well - look at their tops :)

After a long, but wonderful day inside the park, this is the view waiting for us from the Serrano River viewpoint. A poem to the sunset... a magical place.
