I have a special relationship with light and its wonders. It has far greater meaning than just making visible the world it illuminates, depending on the angle of the light it can make things glow, put them in focus, cover them with golden shimmers, make them appear magical. It influences our mood, creates atmosphere and in a figurative sense the light stands for awareness.
For this photo and series I made, the light provided the idea - seeing the shadow of my hand on a blank canvas, I grabbed a glass heart and let the sun create a play of light (below a previously posted photo from the series).

Well, we don't have real autumns here, so I'll had to get my own...:) It only took me about 5 different images to get there....lol

Shanlinxi Forest Recreation Area or Sun Link Sea Forest Recreation Area is a forest in Zhushan Township, Nantou County, Taiwan.
The forest is located at an elevation of 1,600-1,800 meters above sea level with an area of 40 hectares. It consists of herb and flower garden as well as three waterfalls, namely Qingyun Waterfall, Niaosong Waterfall and Water Curtain Cave Waterfall.

The forest is located within a valley of mountain on its three sides and consists of many bamboos. It also has Ginkgo biloba garden. It is located at an average altitude of 1,150 meters above sea level and spans over an area of 2,500 hectares. The highest mountain peak within the forest reaches 2,025 meters above sea level, which is Mount Lingtou. It has a cool climate all year round with average monthly temperature ranges from 11-28°C and average monthly of 16.6°C. The average annual rainfall is 2,635.18 mm.
The Magic of the ocean always draws me in. Always. It is healing and magical. Pacifica is a beautiful area with fabulous eateries, shops and a gorgeous goth castle (Sam’s Castle) built in 1908 loaded with colorful history , paranormal and mystery. Lovey’s Tea shop is delightful and has yummy homemade scones and great loose leaf teas to choose from. Yum. Nick’s Restaurant is a go to place for drinks and delicious food. Many hidden gems await discovery for those who like to explore.
My boss was struggling at the trail of the Northern Ridge Line of Phoenix Mountain. :-)

For our last night on Malta we arrived in the capital Valletta. From the terrace of our hotel the view was stunning on the three cities and the Grand Harbour. In the evening when the heat of the day melt away with the south wind the magic happens during those unforgettable moments.
When the sun came down, the sky slowly turns to purple. The beautiful castle in the Central Park begin to display its magic!
