Some people are so magical that they are not even aware of it.
They go about their usual ways, and we fortunate ones, as a friend, lover, acquaintance or just an onlooker, indulge in the magic.
Isn't life beautiful!
It's a whole new world! Ok, maybe not...
Anyways, this was built for MocAthalon 2014 over on MOCpages.
The category was Pair Dare, in which you can only use two types of pieces (unlimited colors though). I chose to use 1x2 tiles and 1x1 clips.

Just wanted to have some fun in the park like I use to, only problem was that I had to find a park that was not gated and also not well lit....lol
tried to keep it simple, stuck some LED lights to the roundabout and sent in spinning...Cropped the picture a little in LR.

Hi Oriland friends! Back to ORILAND MAGIC STAR showcase... This version of Oriland Magic Star is from 48 squares - no glue, of course, and it rotates wonderfully due to evenly distributed layers of paper! You can use rainbow coordinated colors or just maneuver with 2 colors to get the chess beauty! :-)
When the star is revolved, it has a mesmerizing effect that dazzle and amaze!

Magic Ball is one of my favorite parlor origami models.
In case of sudden Halloween it can easily pass for a pumpkin. Just try not to burn it with a candle.
Sloan, Nevada - 24 AUG 2016
A girl posing for a photo at the Seven Magic Mountains art exhibit adjacent to Interstate 15 in Sloan, Nevada, about 15 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip.
Internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinoneâs Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale site-specific public art installation located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Comprised of seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than thirty feet high, Seven Magic Mountains is situated within the Ivanpah Valley adjacent to Sheep Mountain and the McCullough, Bird Spring, and Goodsprings ranges of mountains. A creative expression of human presence in the desert, Seven Magic Mountains punctuates the Mojave with a poetic burst of form and color. The exhibition opened May 11, 2016 and will be on display for two years.
A plein air but most of the trees and the hills are my imagination. The horizon line looks more like from Upper Michigan than Mid Michigan. See those dark trees right below the setting sun? A great way to cover a barn that didn't turn out right-it's magic!

For 52 Weeks for Dogs -- 32/52
For the Daily Dog Challenge 8/8 -- "I Wish..."
It has been a rough two weeks. Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and while my head is spinning over that, I felt like I was doing okay. Then, Friday night, Rose got sick and I mean very sick, right at 10:00. By 1:30 in the morning we were at the emergency vet and she collapsed in the exam room. They diagnosed her with gastroenteritis and after being there with her all night, sent us to our regular vet at 7:30 Saturday morning. At noon, our vet had us take her back to the emergency vet where she is still in residence. So, this is during her ride to our vet where she was chasing bunnies on her own personal magic carpet ride. Tomorrow morning, I have to go and get her and take her back to our regular vet. I am praying hard that our vet will let us take her back home after she has been there and that this finally starts to turn around. She has been my little rock for the past two weeks and I am more terrified at the idea of not bringing her home than I am for myself. If you have any good thoughts to send her way, we would really appreciate them.
