Out for the first time since lockdown at the Magic Theatre.. too busy having fun to get many pics

Nemzeti Botanikus Kert, Vácrátót

We had ADR's for Cindy's Table this particular morning, and to be honest, the only reason I did it was to get morning shots of the castle without any lens lice. I'm a producer for a very successful pro shooter and his advice to me since day one has been shoot into the light, last trip I really focused on that, backlighting as much as possible.

This shot almost didn't happen. After the last shot I uploaded, I walked down to the Esplanade area to shoot directly toward the sunset in Cambridge. I had planned to quit after that, but when I looked back I saw the lights on the John Hancock were visible, so I hustled back to the bridge to shoot this scene.

This is NOT HDR or any other multiple exposure image. I also did not use any filters. This is nearly straight out of camera (I did adjust the white balance slightly). There is a window of time that is very fleeting in the evening when everything balances out perfectly. In this shot both the lights of the buildings and the warm dusk light are visible.

It's not quite how I envisioned the shot, but I still like how this one turned out (especially for a 2 a.m. shot). In the original size file, you can actually read the names in the bricks.

HDR from 6 exposures merged and finished in CS5.

Magic and I would like to thank you for all your great comments and invites. And thank you for stopping by for a visit.

This is the Magic Mart department store located at 1441 East Main Street within the Lothair section of Hazard, KY. It originally opened in 1968, and had moved across the street in the 1970s. It closed for the final time on August 20, 2018, after 50 years in business in Hazard.

I took these in April 2006, the WMA and WMN belonged to Pixelleposse. Frankly, I never uploaded them because I thought they were fairly awful pictures. If it is any excuse, it was Jennah who posed the three "white magic" pix.

Hi folks, my capture for the day is a night shot of the Liberty Square River Boat.

Some people are so magical that they are not even aware of it.

They go about their usual ways, and we fortunate ones, as a friend, lover, acquaintance or just an onlooker, indulge in the magic.

Isn't life beautiful!

Hi folks, Here's a capture of some balloons from my last trip to Magic Kingdom.

Today's sunset before a thunderstorm rolled in and I rolled out.

Is it wrong that I think about my camera when I hear "I don't, no, I don't, no, I don't, no, I don't want anybody else but you"?

Musicians have the ability to share their state of consciousness – or name it vibration – with those who listen. The more the listener is able to open his soul for this powerful energy of sound and rhythm the more he will get in resonance. And when the resonance is strong enough it happens… musician and listener melt into one (and the same trance). They share “god” a Sufi told me. And I agree, one can say so. Dervish dance in a sacred room means they dance for the beloved but finally they dance in love.

When musicians love their music, and when they are able (like shamans) to play themselves in an ecstatic mood (love), and when their energy is strong enough, to bring a listener in resonance, they are extraordinary musicians. In fact they are magicians. They open the gate to the other dimension.

For a few years I did trance dance regularly. Finally I gave lessons and enjoyed it very much!!!

The magic rhythm is the rhythm of my heart.

This picture is dedicated to the music group Fabula and all my shaman friends.

Just wanted to have some fun in the park like I use to, only problem was that I had to find a park that was not gated and also not well lit....lol

tried to keep it simple, stuck some LED lights to the roundabout and sent in spinning...Cropped the picture a little in LR.

Magic in the moonlight

Woody Allen [2014]

Sloan, Nevada - 24 AUG 2016

A girl posing for a photo at the Seven Magic Mountains art exhibit adjacent to Interstate 15 in Sloan, Nevada, about 15 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip.

Internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinoneâs Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale site-specific public art installation located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Comprised of seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than thirty feet high, Seven Magic Mountains is situated within the Ivanpah Valley adjacent to Sheep Mountain and the McCullough, Bird Spring, and Goodsprings ranges of mountains. A creative expression of human presence in the desert, Seven Magic Mountains punctuates the Mojave with a poetic burst of form and color. The exhibition opened May 11, 2016 and will be on display for two years.
