I've done something similar to this before, but I finally got the fairy dust to look how I want.
I'll be leaving around the 12th for a week. Unfortunately, I won't have access to the internet so I won't be able to upload for that time span. I will keep with my 365 and take pictures, however. And, I will send out prints to the print winners when I announce them on the 13th.
I'll have to catch up with everyone's streams when I return.

The shot
Standard 3 exposures [-2,0,+2EV] in IS0100/RAW at f/13 (1/125s for 0EV) using the EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM lens (used 10mm), from hand.
Photomatix
Tonemapped using the detail enhancer on 3 exposures and same settings on 0 EV shot.
Photoshop
° Added Curves adjustment layer - S curve;
° Added Levels adjustment layer;

Fantasyland was something I have been looking forward to visiting ever since it opened last Fall. Several trips were planned and cancelled between then and now, hyping it even that much more for me.
I was finally able to visit last week and had a blast seeing all of the new elements that have opened within the past year. It's going to be awesome when everything is 100% completed.
What stuck out to me most, however, were these kingdom walls that separate the areas. Naturally that means I have about 200 shots of them, but this particular take struck me unlike the others.
And so…!

Disney Magic is a cruise ship owned and operated by the Disney Cruise Line, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. She has 11 public decks, can accommodate 2,700 passengers in 875 staterooms, and has a crew of approximately 950. The interior of Disney Magic is decorated in the Art Deco style, in contrast to her sister ship, Disney Wonder, which is decorated in the Art Nouveau style.
The ship has twenty bright yellow lifeboats which, along with the black, red, and white colors of the ship itself, match the colors of Mickey Mouse. This change from the standard safety orange took a waiver of international maritime rules. As with other Disney cruise ships, the ship's horn blast plays an excerpt from Disney's famous flagship tune, "When You Wish upon a Star". Disney Magic's Godmother is Patricia Disney, former wife of Walt Disney's nephew, Roy E. Disney.
Where's a tripod when you need one! My impromptu shot of a mushroom (lying on the ground, camera in one hand whilst trying to part the tall grass) didn't quite work but I quite like the 'blurry' result and can assure you it has nothing to do with eating any of the mushrooms...

Our Daily Challenge ... run/running.
At room temperature Ice Magic runs freely over the icecream until the cold makes it set. When you take too long to get the photo the icecream also starts to run down the cone as it melts! Also if you look closely ... I didn't notice it until I uploaded the photo ... there is a leaping/running kangaroo just near the drip
The forests around the small town of Irrel, in the western part of Germany are stunning in this time of the year. I had the chance to spend a few hours walking around the area and was truly taken by the quiet beauty of this place.
On the technical side, I used again my Sigma 35mm 1.4 wide open to produce this panorama. I just love the feeling of the resulting image even if it's not sharp corner to corner as I usually try with most landscape photographs.
Los bosques que rodean el pequeño pueblo de Irrel, en el oeste de Alemania, son verdaderamente hermosos en esta época del año. El otro día tuve la oportunidad de pasear durante algunas horas por la zona y me impresionó mucho la calma y la belleza del lugar.
Como nota técnica, utilicé aquí de nuevo mi objetivo Sigma 35mm 1.4 completamente abierto para hacer este panorama. Me encanta el ambiente que produce incluso si no es una foto totalmente nítida como intento de costumbre con los paisajes.
Sloan, Nevada - 26 AUG 2016
Curious visitors come to see the Seven Magic Mountains art exhibit adjacent to Interstate 15 in Sloan, Nevada, about 15 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip.
Internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinoneâs Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale site-specific public art installation located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Comprised of seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than thirty feet high, Seven Magic Mountains is situated within the Ivanpah Valley adjacent to Sheep Mountain and the McCullough, Bird Spring, and Goodsprings ranges of mountains. A creative expression of human presence in the desert, Seven Magic Mountains punctuates the Mojave with a poetic burst of form and color. The exhibition opened May 11, 2016 and will be on view for two years.
Walt Disney World
I got a lot of mileage from this location on the 7th floor of the Contemporary Resort back in June. I ended up staying in this one spot for about an hour and 1/2 and shot around 500 frames (many brackets). The light kept changing which provided a continuous stream of photo ops. It also helped me get many different compositions with both monorails in the frame. It doesn’t happen often, but I was in the right place at the right time for this series.
Oh, and I don’t really care for the Avengerail but I think it adds a complimenting degree of drama to the shot that matches what’s going on in the sky.

My mom used to make a chocolate pudding cake when I was little that always seemed so amazing to me. She'd pull it out of the oven and I'd wait to see if it separated into a layer of pudding and cake (it always did) and clap. So when I saw this, I had to try it. It does seem like magic to take normal cake ingredients, treat them a little differently, and have them turn into something so different.
It reminds me of a Dutch Baby filled with custard, so if that sounds good, get on it and make one!
PS: I really loaded this with vanilla. My homemade extract looked a little weak so I scraped some vanilla seeds into the batter. It's very vanilla-y and delicious.

If you're looking to get a full castle view, this is obviously not the best spot. But if you're looking to get a decent shot of some fireworks and are arriving just 20 minutes before, you can't beat it.

Mañana empiezo por fin mis vacaciones y volveré a retomar la fotografía, que tengo unas ganas locas de sacarle partido a mi nuevo equipo.
