Happy Scarlet Sunday all... It's that time of year when everyone has tulips, the colours are great but capturing the essence of tulips is quite hard I think, I have seen some good ones already on flickr but I'm still trying to create a shot that stands out ;-))

And... thanks to everyone for their comments yesterday, always very very much appreciated... Have a relaxing day everyone.

While spending some time photographing the FW 190, the front section of the Rolls Royce grabbed my attention.

Atmosphere and colour are attractive, they look like rose rather than lotus!

This ground-hugging, black-eyed beastie took a liking to my friend's skin. I think it liked the salt from sweat. Followed us for some distance as we hiked the desert. I finally decided to take several shots.

Thanks to Andy Calderwood for ID.

This spiders (jumpers or Salticidae) are fond of using leaves as their home. In this case a palmera behind the parking lot of MCUFDTMF (where I teach and practice) showed a lot of folds and whoaaa this jumper was inside resting in his cozy home !

Happy Scarlet Sunday! From early September, this stately & pristine coneflower was still flaunting his early Fall best, thinking he could work it for another two months. If only he knew what was right around the corner...he'd have spent less time posing & been out shopping for a warm scarf & mittens.
