Food Month Continues! This 80-proof shot is dedicated to the wonderful Fabiela™, simply because she is such a lovely, talented and genuinely sweet person. I'm happy to count her as one of my dearest Flickr friends...although she travels & disappears a bit too much. ;)
Dirty Martini with Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives: Though I prefer my vodka martinis clean and green, the cocktail bar at the five-star Peninsula Hotel in Chicago (where celebs like Jennifer Aniston stay when in town) makes the most amazing dirty martinis with stuffed olives. Well, truthfully I think they were delicious, but I don't really recall.

Things I ♥ Month Continues! Though I was raised on the East Coast, the amazing city of Chicago has been my home for most of my adult life. And while the weather can be bone-chilling cold, the people are always warm, welcoming & friendly.
Chicago along the Lake: Even the Canadian geese come to the icy lakefront to enjoy sunsets on the iconic skyline—from the Navy Pier ferris wheel to the John Hancock building.

Food Month Continues! Who wants pie? Living in a big city like Chicago, we're fortunate to have small mom 'n pop bakeries or large restaurant chains to grab a single slice whenever the urge strikes...which it does, almost every day. OK, it strikes me every day. Like right now (and it's 7:30am).
Lemon Meringue Pie: While my usual choice for pie is Pumpkin or Triple Berry, sometimes I like the tart fluffiness of LMP (that's what the cool kids call it). I mean, it's like 90% whipped topping, which makes it 90% delicious right off the bat.

Making of, one of the ideas, the inside of one sqaure would fullfill the requirements for size of 75 x 75 mm for Macro Mondays size restriction. There for the title.
Other then this, fine dark chocolodad, pralinees from a well know german brand, and not eaten. So close to food fotography, but not some extra calories , not yet eaten.
