Hakea flowers [Australian native bush]

Met up with this beautiful young lady in ventura for what seemed like a dying opportunity as the sun was already set and the light was fading fast. so with a little macro magic with my new lens i got last month, we set out for a few locations and made the best of it. i consider it a huge success, but not nearly as huge a success as this girl! i had the nerve to ask the cliche question "so what are these headshots going to be used for?" i learned that she weighed in at 289 lbs not too long ago and decided to totally change the way she lived and just to take it a step further she has her portfolio in a few modeling agencies as well as possible book publishing? details are still pending, but for now let's just congratulate and wish her well on her journey, hopefully one day i can say i did portfolio shots for a supermodel / motivational speaker, hehe

Alors que je m'abritais de la pluie sous un arbre, j'entendis une voix derrière moi. Je me retournais, et pris en photo le druide des forêts.
