Then the litte critter emerged. An aphid? Anyway, it's so hard managing focus and light. I could not pick between this one and the prior as my best focused shot. Going to spend more time working on these types of shots as summer is short :). This is also my photo of the day submission. Goa - Day 1. After we reached, got ready and went for lunch to amazing sea food restaurant 50 feet from the sea shore. Nothing would make it perfect except for a corona (they should start selling that in goa), but we settled for kingfisher. they small water beads are the children of hot summer day n a cold beer. So i showed off the macro magic power of my canon.

Messing with flowers, a macro lens and my Kenko extension tubes...

macro magic. i set the timer, then set the camera beneath the floral arrangement (that was beneath a tree.)

 

(Is that a wax flower? i shall tag it as such, till someone corrects me!)
