I took the new Lensbaby Double Glass II out for a walk on a snowy day a few weeks ago. I quickly realised that the creative aperture discs were great whenever there were bright highlights but what I didn't appreciate on the back of the camera was what a wonderful texture they added in flat lighting!

This is one of the most beautiful parts of Heaps Canyon, a remote slot in Zion National Park. At times, it feels like you're in a lost world out here! I recently posted a video showing all the fun we had going through this canyon. Check it out here:

A pebble and a stray feather shot in the natural light through the window. Another shot for my Odds and Sods folder! Collecting 'found' objects from the garden, from the beach, from the woods we walk through .... they are all part of my Simple Pleasures and possibly mean more to me than many bought objects!
