A lost soul often looks for another lost soul! " "The only good soul is a lost soul, and only a lost soul can find its way home." "I travel to lose myself in the beauties of the world and to find my lost soul within the chaos of it all." “A lost soul will eventually find another lost soul!

Someone’s lost rabbit finds its way to my house. It was feeding outside with the birds. It seems to be content to stay with me for awhile.

Once again the savage and barbaric members of ISIS have destroyed part of the elegant remains of Syrian history. The Arch of Triumph which stood in Palmyra for 1800 years is gone. Recently they took the life of the brave antiquities director who was the guardian of the site's treasures. When will they be stopped from killing the lovely people of Syria and destroying its heritage?
Five years ago I was lucky enough to go to Syria. I added the country on to a trip I planned to Jordan and Lebanon. It became my favorite destination. I had no idea of the treasures that had been preserved in Syria that rivaled Petra for its history and beauty. I was mesmerized when I saw the beauty of Palmyra and even more so when this camel and the rider appeared to bring life to the historical ruins.
Is the man still alive? Is the camel well cared for? How many more lives will be taken and treasures destroyed by the fanatical forces in the world.
