The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep :)
Happy evening fellas

In a trance she wanders around, no aim in sight just the never endless journey in finding that which eludes her every day, completion.

Lost
Always be careful not to step out of the standard track, you just might encounter an incredible adventure. Seeing scenes with you're eyes that no other people have seen before. Just travel in the woodlands to another place, maybe even, another planet. And who knows, at the end of the mysterious tunnel, maybe you find something really special. Alien life? Brown dwarfs? Yourself?
Let's get lost!

The edge of the circular blade on my new tool for opening fresh coconuts safely.
For Macro Monday March 7 theme "Lost/Found".
LOST
A few weeks ago my husband saw me using a powered garden saw to open a coconut in the sink and thought I would was going to lose some fingers for sure. He insisted I use a safer method.
FOUND
I found this tool called Coco Jack on the internet, and have been eating more fresh coconuts than ever since it arrived.

‘You are not defeated when you lose. You are defeated when you quit.’ - Paulo Coelho
I enjoy trying to capture a fleeting expression and I’ve found that good potential for one exists immediately after a victory or a loss. While watching the sumo wrestlers bout their opponents in their training stables in Tokyo, I noticed that the winners remained very quiet and rather expressionless. It struck me rather early on that there would be no photos of crazy victory dances or celebrations in the dohyo that day, so I turned my attention to the runner up. Well here he is, with his hand on his head thinking about what he should change and how he should approach his next bout. Although he lost this time, he wasn’t defeated.

A disappointing end to a Bald Eagles attempt to capture a fish from the waters of Kachemak Bay, Alaska. The fish was stunned enough that another eagle got it shortly after it landed in the water.

A window of the Little Red Schoolhouse at the Lost Villages Museum. The clocks turn back an hour this weekend making for an even earlier sunset along with the Autumnal decline of the sun.
Day 67/365: 2015
The weekly theme is selective colouring.
I took the parasol out with me in the hope of finding somewhere interesting to photograph it but ended up with this fence. Not sure I'll manage to keep the theme up as I now have RSI from re-colouring! ;) It's quite time consuming too, a great theme though so I'll do my best.
Oh dear, I have just realised that to fit the theme the selective colour was meant to be done in camera, sorry!
