Dömitz is located in the east of the former inner-German border on the Elbe River. After the division of Germany after the war, the railway bridge over the Elbe (Dömitzer Brücke) was closed. The remaining railway line to Ludwigslust was shut down in 2001. The station deteriorated over time and 2011 it burned out inside.
The Dömitzer Bridge is a symbol of the division of Germany. The train station has been forgotten.

Lost Light – I was out shooting the storm last night and styed until dark to shoot long exposers of the clouds moving. The sun has set about 45 minutes before I took this shot and the sky had been dark for a while when these clouds started to glow in the east like it got lost during sunset. I decided grab some of the light in my shot. It was too dark to focus my camera, so I put my flashlight on the foreground rock and focused on it.
The technical – Nikon D810 Tamron 10-15mm at 21mm f/2.8 for 465 seconds. Processed in Lightroom.

A few weeks ago my husband saw me using a powered garden saw to open a coconut in the sink and thought I would was going to lose some fingers for sure. He insisted I use a safer method.
FOUND
I found this tool called Coco Jack on the internet, and have been eating more fresh coconuts than ever since it arrived.
I came back to Flickr to find 'Friends Lost' ... So I dedicate this image of my golden yellow Tulips to those 'friends' whom unfriended me because my family came first during a Pandemic. I wish you well and will miss your beautiful images ... How strange social media is......
