On and on we drift, back to where we were before
You can welcome me in, I will not walk through that door
I may be blind but I'll find my way
Like a Lost Prayer on a stormy day
(english follow)
Perdu (Lost)
Patrice

Lost
Where are we, my friend?
What happened to us?
Where are the sea and the birds?
This world is unknown to me
And this strange sky above?
It is beautiful as a phantasm, but I no longer recognize
the star that I love;
To which universe it belongs?
Are we lost at East of Eden?
Lost in the blackness of the world filled by fakes?
On this immensity without horizon
You are my landmark
On this world buried beneath these phantasms and unable to see the truth;
I will be your landmark
Inventing a new world. . .
Look, that will guide us
This will not happen without effort, without an effort of memory and hope.
When the essential is lost, there is always the future.
It is with you and all those who resemble you that I want to invent it
And to find my lost star
Patrice

“Not every lost soul wants to be found, because not every lost is lost, some of them found something or many things or even everything in their lostness!”

Everyone is changing there's no one left that's real
To make up your own ending and let me know just how you feel
'Cause I am lost without you I cannot live at all
My whole world surrounds you I stumble then I crawl
You could be my someone you could be my scene
You know that I'll protect you from all of the obscene
I wonder what you're doing imagine where you are
There's oceans in between us but that's not very far

This is in a neighbour's garden, every time she found a lost flipflop, or thong as we call them in Australia, she would bring it home and nail it on the dead branch of her tree. She no longer lives there but the tree and the flipflops remain.
Many thanks for your visits, kind comments and faves, very much appreciated.

Sometimes when we go back in time or look at the things that were there we get lost. Because change can be a very hard thing to accept.
Happy Window Wednesday

For once I thought you will be afraid to lose me.
Why am I the one who’s terrified of losing you .
without you i'm like lost in your paradise .
