“The core of your
true self
is never lost.
Let go of all the
pretending and
the becoming
you've done just
to belong.
Curl up with your
rawness and come home.
You don't have to
find yourself;
you just have to
let yourself in.”
― D. Antoinette Foy

Once you told me
Look for the north star, then you'll see
Heavenly, I hear
Found my way to the beach
And there were waves over me
I was lost at sea
Till you found me
Happily, happily
I was found lost at sea
....und der Fotograf wunderte sich, das dieses Insekt beim fotografieren nicht fortsprang :-)

“I am not resigned to the shutting away of loving hearts in the hard ground. So it is, and so it will be, for so it has been, time out of mind: Into the darkness they go, the wise and the lovely. Crowned With lilies and with laurel they go; but I am not resigned. Down, down, down into the darkness of the grave, Gently they go, the beautiful, the tender, the kind; Quietly they go, the intelligent, the witty, the brave. I know. But I do not approve. And I am not resigned.”- Edna St. Vincent Millay "Dirge Without Music" 1928

The Juvenile Red-backed Shrike appeared randomly one day on my garden. I thought he was just passing by since migration just started, but after more than a week, he is still here so...is he lost?
Did you ever look at a picture of yourself and see a stranger in the background? It makes you wonder how many people have pictures of you, how many moments of other people's lives we've been in. Were we part of someone's life when their dream came true, or were we there when their dreams died? Did we keep trying to get in, as if we were somehow destined to be there? Or did the shot take us by surprise? Just think, you could be a big part of someone else's life, and not even know it. ~One Tree Hill
