Op de achtergrond locomotief LTE 5612 (1505) (D-LTE 9280 1275 612-0). Donderdag 15 april 2021 om 11:42.
Daarna ging het naar Schulen waar de Crossrails met fotowolk doorkwamen. Concurrent B-Logistics kon wel op een zonnestraal rekenen. Fraaie foto - al zeg ik het zelf - alleen spijtig van de talrijke muggen...

Der Frühling zeigte sich quasi vor meiner Haustüre von seiner besten Seite mit voller Rapsblüte nördlich der Bahn und so wurden auch am 22.April 2022 wieder Überstunden abgebaut und so ging es wieder zum fotografieren:
Ich stand nördlich Wiesbaden- Schierstein an der rechten Rheinstrecke (KBS 466) und bekam schließlich die Info das sich doch eigentlich die interessantesten Güterzüge aus dem Süden im Zulauf waren was sich nicht ganz optimal an dieser Strecke am späten Vormittag umsetzten läßt.....:-(.
Nach dem RFO Containerzug kam noch der Helrom KlV Zug leider mit dreckiger schwarzer MRCE 193 und war echt unfotogen und ich wanderte mit der Sonne etwas Richtung Niederwalluf:
Sehr erfreut war ich über diesen Zug:
Kobe Con Logistic bzw. S-Rail in Österreich transportiert mehrmals die Woche Kalkschlamm aus Jesnice bzw. Maribor in Slowenien nach Schwerte für ein Papierwerk in Hagen-Kabel.
Die Traktionsleistung erbringt SETG auf dem gesamten Laufweg. Die Züge werden leider als Sonderleistungen eingelegt und sind somit nur schwer zu fotografieren.
Ich hatte das Glück und konnte den als DGS 47984 von Passau Rbf nach Schwerte Rbf. eingelegten Zug mit der ELL 193 746 (Werbelok Jedermann) von SETG fotografieren.
Im Hintergrund der Blick in den Taunus mit der sogn. "Hohen Wurzel" und dem Ausflugslokal Nürnberger Hof.
Erschreckend zu sehen ist das Baumsterben auf der sogn. "Hohen Wurzel".
MAN TGX 18.510 der ASB-Fahrzeug Logistic GmbH aus Röhrnbach auf der A3 Regensburg - Passau bei Schwarzach transportiert 4 VW Transporter T6.1 Fahrgestelle.
Die Br 186 910 mit dem TX Logistic/Crossrail Autozug von Roma nach Lahr (Schwarzwald) in der Kurve von Zeihen AG.

Fin dalla fondazione dell'impresa, l'italo-tedesca TX Logistic si è affidata alle Ferrovie Federali per sopperire ai picchi di traffico e carenze di materiale motore.
Dallo scorso inverno, alle moderne Re482, si sono poi affiancare una dozzina di Re421 predisposte alla circolazione sulle reti tedesche ed elvetiche scelte per la trazione dei crescenti servizi interni.
Nella foto la Re421.374 sta superando la vecchia stazione di Oberhaunn, alle porte di Bed Ersfeld in viaggio fra la Baviera e Bremerhaven al traino di un convoglio competo BMW.

A Logistic Park, IL, to Long Beach, CA, stack train works ups the .75-.80% grade into New Boston as they pass the approach signal for the Argyle crossovers in southern Iowa. An eastbound vehicle train from Clovis rolls slowly towards Fort Madison as traffic backs up around Fort Mad. Hard to believe that in late 2018 an old style Santa Fe signal bridge can still be found. This one and handful of others still march traffic on this busy Transcon Mainline in 2018
Signals were retired October 1, 2019, and the bridge removed in the 2nd week of January 2021.

To produce the effects seen here I shot 310 frames each at 13 sec f/2.8 ISO 2000 using a Canon 6D and Sigma 15mm EX DG lens. I then stacked the images using StarStaX.
This is one of the world's largest curved wooden railroad trestles. Built of huge redwood timbers, the trestle is spectacular by any perspective, and almost sacred to railroad buffs. Towering more than 183 feet in height, and spanning more than 633 feet in width, the Goat Canyon Trestle was a triumph of engineering in 1932 and remains so today. This trestle was built after an earthquake destroyed one of the seventeen tunnels that were constructed along the track between 1907 and 1919. Rather than proceed through the same mountain that had the remnants of the previous collapsed tunnel, the railroad engineers elected to bridge Goat Canyon.
The San Diego & Arizona Eastern Railway Company is a short-line American railroad originally founded in 1906 as the San Diego & Arizona Railway (SD&A) by sugar heir, developer, and entrepreneur John D. Spreckels. Dubbed "The Impossible Railroad" by many engineers of its day due to the immense logistical challenges involved, the line was established in part to provide San Diego with a direct rail link to the east by connecting with the Southern Pacific Railroad lines in El Centro, California. The SD&A's 146.4-mile (235.61 km) route originates in San Diego, California and terminates in El Centro, California.
The company took over the SD&A's operations in February 1933 after financial troubles led John Spreckels' descendants to sell their interests in the railroad to the Southern Pacific. Through the years natural disasters and vandalism rendered sections of the line unserviceable, and portions of the line have been sold to various interests.
Around 2004, Carrizo Gorge Railway, Inc. spent millions of dollars repairing the tunnels, trestles, and more and trains begin running on the line once again. Only four years later, in 2008, the line was embargoed. Recently, however, Baja California Railroad has taken over control of this line and plans to restore freight train service sometime in 2018.
