The four ex- NdeM E60's are slowing as they roll around the loading loop at the Peabody mine at Kayenta. Soon the train will stop outside the load out to lower three of the pantographs before proceeding through the load out where they will play musical pantographs to raise and lower them through the building.

The weather was no surprise after a week in Melbourne. I only had one day where the sun shone and one might consider it a summer. It is very rare when one can say I was returning to Tasmania to hotter weather.
The title came to me the instant I saw these blue palettes piled high on the small loading dock of a local grocery store.

i love a good list...i make lists about what lists i need to make...just a fun page about some of the companies whose paper i am crushing on right now. Always excited after cha to get all the new goodies. Too much of a good thing is awesome!
Perhaps not that photogenic but I was pleased to finally get some shots at the loading bay at Gwuan-Cae-Gurwen (GCG). 66026 has just arrived from Immingham with empty hoppers on the 4V32 to load up with anthracite. It will take about 2.5 hours to load the train which will return to Immingham on the 6E09. Poignant, as this this is one of the last trains to GCG now that the coal reserves are near depletion.
I took this photo last weekend. I thought it made for a fun shot. I hope all my friends have a great Sunday tomorrow. :D

This container Bert in Bremerhaven is probably the longest in the world. These days with recession it is mostly empty and the cranes heaviest load is the SUN.
The picture is not taken on a sunday but on the 13th :-)
