Who Woulda Thunk Thursday-Found Photo
Found these old photos in a photo album my mom had made of my childhood. I think I'll add a title..but journaling says:
A summer time picnic with neighbors, the Laktiewiczs. We were at Halibut Point in Rockport MA...August 1963...I was 4 years old!
Halibut Point was a fun state park. You'd walk a mile or so through blueberry bushes to the rocks by the ocean to set up for the picnic. We went there often throughout the years!
This is one of my favorite photos of my daughter on her 1st birthday, smelling flauders (as she called flowers for the longest time). I started this yesterday and finished it up today.
The paper is one of the Prima printables that I colored with my watercolor pencils and a damp paintbrush.
gems are also Prima as is the alphabet.
This whole layout is inspired by our fearless leader Lain. Title - from Lain's terrific piece about Hallowen is truly ALL about the candy. The papers and embellishments are from Lain's Halloween Kit I purchase.
I'm not sure you can see it but the cute spider embellishments is "hanging" from the green eyeball with "spidey thread".
He's maybe about four feet from me (NOTE: I didn't try to get close to him; the Norris-Madison Road doesn't really give you anywhere to go in these circumstances. He was southbound and I was northbound). He sneezed on my truck. Tatonka!

Loads of lakes and pools surrounded all the huts and gazebos... it was a shame the palm trees hadn't been unwrapped

Water jets blow cranberries into the loading system. other water jets separate many of the tiny leaves.
The powers of lighting. Now it is a sunny and bright place to sit back and enjoy the warm breeze. There is a Motel that we stayed at and in the back was this shack and chairs.

Gene Mace and KC Cochran of the Wiregrass RC Club were out flying Gene's gas powered stick and a RC parachute jumper (Roy...their name). The following sequence of events shows the operation from loading ol' Roy to the bottom of the airplane, takeoff, and parachute flying.
Roy is in his Army Golden Knight outfit and parachute.

A bit of a weird LO from me today and I was hesitant to do this subject today because I don't want anyone to feel like I am making a mockery of their faith.
When I was around 7 or 8 I invented my own religion- Mormish. Members of my religion (all one of me) ate soup with a dessert spoon and everything else with a soup spoon. It was also against our religion to wash or dry cutlery.
I'm not sure how I got away with that at home but I did. :-)
