Top left corner - our wedding in 1982 we have been married for 29 years.
Middle right side - December 2005 my Sisters wedding.
Bottom left side- Nov. 2011 my husbands retirement party He retired after 29 years of service to the Fire Dept. He had a wonderful career! Looking forward to many many years of happy retirement!

Who Woulda Thunk Thursday-Found Photo
Found these old photos in a photo album my mom had made of my childhood. I think I'll add a title..but journaling says:
A summer time picnic with neighbors, the Laktiewiczs. We were at Halibut Point in Rockport MA...August 1963...I was 4 years old!
Halibut Point was a fun state park. You'd walk a mile or so through blueberry bushes to the rocks by the ocean to set up for the picnic. We went there often throughout the years!
This is one of my favorite photos of my daughter on her 1st birthday, smelling flauders (as she called flowers for the longest time). I started this yesterday and finished it up today.
The paper is one of the Prima printables that I colored with my watercolor pencils and a damp paintbrush.
gems are also Prima as is the alphabet.
This whole layout is inspired by our fearless leader Lain. Title - from Lain's terrific piece about Hallowen is truly ALL about the candy. The papers and embellishments are from Lain's Halloween Kit I purchase.
I'm not sure you can see it but the cute spider embellishments is "hanging" from the green eyeball with "spidey thread".
People come from all over to hike this trail which begins right behind our house. We love to take walks on it with the boys.
A friend loading my gun...my nails are too long to get the shells in good. But not cutting the nails for the sake of turkey hunting. LOL
Diciamolo subito: quello dei Lightning Bolt non è un concerto. È un evento di scuola situazionista in cui, tra l’altro, c’è anche musica. Il solito assalto math/noise-rock, per chi li conosce bene, una marea di decibel piacevolmente sconnessa che mette comunque a dura prova i più coraggiosi fra le prime file, fra cui un tizio eroico che si ergerà per tutto il tempo a difesa di uno dei piatti della batteria di Chippendale. Quel che colpisce è ancora una volta non solo il diverso modo di vivere lo stesso suono (un Van Halen compassato il buon Gibson, un inguaribile tarantolato Chippendale) ma il fatto che non ci sia palco, nessuna mediazione tra chi suona e chi ascolta, non un filo logico da seguire, solo una coerenza assurda. Pescati a piene mani i due ultimi album, sbriciolato il concetto di noise-rock – e ben prima di stasera – a noi non resta che un po’ di lucidità per constatare quanto il duo di Providence abbia dato, anche in termini di estetica, a tutto un movimento, ma quanto anche si possano sentire i primi scricchiolii di una macchina tanto potente e bizzarra. Era giusto e doveroso vederli, prima di un epilogo speriamo scongiurato da una nuova sterzata su disco.

These are Walthers HO scale Loading Platform kits that I modified, detailed and weathered. Not the easiest or very fun kits to build but they turned out OK.
A bit of a weird LO from me today and I was hesitant to do this subject today because I don't want anyone to feel like I am making a mockery of their faith.
When I was around 7 or 8 I invented my own religion- Mormish. Members of my religion (all one of me) ate soup with a dessert spoon and everything else with a soup spoon. It was also against our religion to wash or dry cutlery.
I'm not sure how I got away with that at home but I did. :-)
