Facility for loading wood chips into ships, at the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay, largest port between Oregon and San Francisco. Handheld from the car, while driving on Highway 101 along the Coos Bay.
Left the dog on the B trailer and loaded the truck on the A.. Unhooked of course.. Had never driven a truck and dog before.. let alone reversed one but managed to back it off first go..
These are the Kalmar loaders used to load containers on Trailer Bridge 4 by 1 barge. They look like praying mantis.

1964 - Dg on the load-bank - the test track is on the left. Eric was the loco inspector and Russ above was the Sub Foreman. A couple of apprentices on roof. The load bank was in the Thorndon Loco depot however the local residents complain about the noise especially when brought up to full power. so the bank was shifted to the Hutt Workshops.
This was me trying out my 1950 Ford 8N tractor after more than 20hrs of bucket rebuilding. The loader is a 1951 19-8 Dearborn industrial loader made by the Wagner Iron Works. The industrial part means that the loader has a front mount hydraulic pump.
photos of me with bunnies my grandmothers gave me. In response to the prompt today, I got out my BG Scarlet's Letter papers. I love just about anything BG, but this line is my absolute fav and I have been hoarding the supplies I have. Now I can enjoy at least a little of it in my scrapbooks. lol
He has very definite ideas about yard sales, and told me exactly what he wanted for his toy sale.
I made the tag in a BPS class where you use up your supplies. So lots of brads, which is not something I normally load up on a page. I've been saving this tag for years, and I'm so glad to use it!

May LOAD Day 31 Challenge. I did this just in case zebra had meant stripes. For me LOAD has shown me that I prefer simple los with bold colors. I'm linear and prefer to use a single photo. I can look back at this month and see a pattern. I miss the mag Simple Scrapbooks because that is my style. Getting it on paper without a lot of fanfare. :)
Big bundles of logs were hoisted aboard this ship. Tugs would pull rafts of bundles over and the cranes would lift them into the ship. They were almost done when I took this shot of a group of men around one of the cables attached to a bundle.
this photo does not fully capture the adventure of loading two kayaks onto Anne's very small car, climbing in and out of the windows because the cinch for the roof rack means the doors can't be opened...etc.

I think I might do one for my daughter and husband, too. Oh, why not --my cat, too. Her's will go something like this: "It amazes me that you can be so mean to us when all we want to do is pet you....." LOL!
Loading my stuff in to my sister's car to go to the airport and move to another country. I sure do remember and miss that warm day.
