The Manix2 Lightweight CPM S110V combines the ultra-lightweight construction of our award-winning Manix2 Lightweight with a blade ground from premium Crucible® CPM S110V. This state-of-the-art powdered metallurgy steel contains high amounts of vanadium and niobium—alloys that give it exceptional wear resistance and higher corrosion resistance than many other stainless steels. The full-flat-ground, leaf-shaped blade offers a superior combination of strength, low-friction cutting performance, and point utility. It also features a forefinger choil and strategically placed jimping (texturing) that enhance control during use and Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous one-handed opening. The handle of this knife is injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and features Spyderco’s distinctive Bi-Directional Texturing™ pattern to ensure a secure grip in all environmental conditions. A reversible wire clip provides convenient left or right-side tip-up carry and an oversized lanyard hole allows the easy attachment of fobs and lanyards. Linking the blade and handle is Spyderco’s patented Ball Bearing Lock mechanism. This high-strength lock consists of a ball bearing nested within a durable textured polymer “cage.” When the blade is opened, a spring-loaded steel plunger drives the ball bearing forward to wedge between a ramp on the blade and an “anvil” in the handle’s steel insert. Drawing the caged ball bearing to the rear releases the lock and allows the blade to close smoothly while keeping your fingers safely away from the sharp edge. Smooth, strong, and easily operated, the Ball Bearing Lock is also completely ambidextrous. The Manix2 CPM S110V Lightweight is an exceptionally advanced folding knife that combines light weight, durability, strength, and high-performance cutting capability into a single dynamic package.
I believe that the top number is the frame number 54798 which translates into 5 = 1935. 4 = April 798 = frames built that year.
The letters in the middle could be the builders initials.
The lower numbers 16449 are likely the repair sheet number used when it was modified and resprayed/chromed.
New set of Lightweights on the rig... Love 'em! Thanks to Ralf and Kris at Above Category for setting them up!
With the lightweight aluminium front and rear axles from the BMW M3/M4 models, forged 19-inch aluminium wheels with mixed-size tyres, M Servotronic steering with two settings and suitably effective M compound brakes, the new BMW M2 Coupe has raised the bar once again in the compact high-performance sports car segment when it comes to driving dynamics. The electronically controlled Active M Differential, which optimises traction and directional stability, also plays a significant role here. And even greater driving pleasure is on the cards when the Dynamic Stability Control system’s M Dynamic Mode (MDM) is activated. MDM allows wheel slip and therefore moderate, controlled drifts on the track.

Unlike most Stuart marine engines this Lightweight has only two ports instead of three. The cylinder and crankcase is a one-piece aluminum casting with short thick mounting lugs and only one bolt on each side. Note also there is a cover plate bearing the Stuart name that seals the bypass and one on the bottom of the crankcase to access the connecting rod cap. The two-piece connecting rod, timer assembly, carburetor, and exhaust stack are bronze castings instead of aluminum that was used in most the Lightweight engines.
It has a 38.2mm bore and 32.5mm stroke for a total displacement of 37cc (2.3 cu in), measures 6.25 long, 4.25 wide, and 7 inches tall (excluding the spark plug), and weighs 5 lbs – 12 oz. Typical of most two stroke engines it burns gasoline with oil mixed in for lubrication but, unusually, sports an air-cooled head atop a water-cooled cylinder; and it sports Stuart's patented "spray bowl" carburetor.
The Lightweight was a popular speed boat racing engine accomplishing speeds of well over 30 miles per hour; it is capable of high speed bursts as well as continuous work loads.

These are my best yet, I can make round and hollow much more easily than this time last week! Yay. Gee look mum - no paint!
A lightweight spring/summer version of the Samantha infinity scarf
that I made in a phenom fresh spring green. Its drape is pretty fluid
& the yarn I used is crazy soft. Doesn't photograph half badly either.
Once the backboard is cut out use the upper and lower bars to mark where the fixings will be, using an awl punch through at each point.

The dynamo bracket and lamp boss are noted as specials on the build sheet which with some letters have survived with this bike. It says to allow clearance for the lamp and Swiss Lucifer dynamo. Brakes are Mafac 'Dural forge' with Spanish 'Alfa' levers. Note brazed on loop for light cable on head tube. Constrictor rims, possibly 'Supalatti's' They are not as rounded as Asps.
This lightweight tradeshow booth structure was made to display kites. It is lightweight and easy to setup and break down. It is made from Kee Lite aluminum pipe fittings and aluminum pipe.
Nikon D610 and battery grip, AF-S 18-35 f4.5-5.6, in the Lowe bag with AF-D 80-200 f2.8 and AF-S 60 2.8 Micro. The old lightweight travel kit, it served me well and shot hundreds of images published on websites and in magazines worldwide. Enjoy your well-earned retirement.
make sure you stretch the bag out before starting to fit the upper bar (you'll need to fit the hook assembly before fitting as you can't do it later.)
Well, not much that I can say about TYF 491M, I happened upon it in the summer of 1988 whilst operating one of our first private hires to Rhyl. Beyond the fact that it's an unusual combination of Bristol LH chassis, with full width Duple Dominant coachwork, I know little else. I reckon that's a London area registration, was it new to Golden Miller?. Were the then owners really from Vauxhall, London?... if so, they were braver than me with my experience of the LH. The picture was taken on a coach park in Rhyl which I'd never used before, adjoining the railway line on the Prestatyn side of the station.
