The sky was absolutely amazing during golden hour. This fisherman proved a great focal point against this sky!
If you know the Peak District then you know these two trees:)

View from the fortress / castle on the small island of Virgin Mary near the center of Parga town where you can by water running or swimming, have not done that seemed not so handy with the camera with me :-)

I've been on the Bantiger again today and it was really amazing. We just walked at the upper fog limit and the sun shone through the fog into the forest.

You do me (and hopefully yourself) a big favour by pressing L and then F11, to view at maximum size.
Thick dark rain clouds and this short break allowing for the most amazing sunbeams.

Down by the creek, it was a new day and a new season. The air was heavy with mist and the early morning sun was cutting through the woods. Another day to appreciate.
I peeked into this folder from months ago that I had written off as a failure and scrounged this one out of it. It was my first time trying out my 100-400, and I made some technical errors with the exposures, but I had done some exposure stacking on this image so once I tweaked it and merged the exposures in Photoshop it wasn't so bad. I think I was originally really disappointed that the foreground was blown out black, but looking at it again, maybe it adds to the composition having that layer of black in front. The view is from Bessie Butte a ways up and on the north side facing west. Mt Bachelor is the obscured Mountain on the right side.
Vale of Porlock, Exmoor, bathed in dappled Autumn light today. A stitch of 2 images horizontally as only had the kit lens, given the stormy winds & rain. (f/9, 45 mm, 1/100th sec at ISO 100).
Crepuscular Rays seen down at Sandbanks yesterday.

Another of my sunsets along the river Thames at Erith, it was such a fabulous and beautiful evening . Just a short time from home.
It is all a bit of a hit and miss affair when you are taking shots like this because you are not to sure how the rays are going to come out!
After days of heatwave it's actually been cooler today & I went to Ulladulla with my husband taking photos. Raining since we got home, the garden will be loving it!!!!
Sydney airport was 42C yesterday any many places hotter than that.
The sun shining through the trees of Alcatraz.
This was during a visit with Vee last year. I managed to get hundreds of photos, but just never got around to the editing and uploading process. Ahh well - always nice to have an archive of photos to dig through!
Long exposure shot of the "Noord Hollands Canal". The blue light is from a police car that drove by. It's cool how the reflection stretches as the distance gets bigger.
