Time stops.... everything else just ceases to exist.. it's just you, the camera, and a forest full of endless possibilities :)
No filters used. Only minimal corrections in Capture One. The photos are made only using the right exposure and aperture to create the effects.

Not a care in the world when you're witnessing this :). Just kick back and relax (or in my case running around like crazy chasing the light throughout the forest).
Maybe one or two more after this one. And now back to Dan Brown's Inferno. Quite a good read!
I saw this little scene developing slowly from my bedroom window so quickly whipped on the 100-400 & legged it up to a nearby bridge. It was like this for around 30 mins afterwards, its been an odd day for weather
One single long exposure. No photoedition : straight out of the camera except for contrast/crop.

A team of young video students went at one of our light painting session to see us at work. We did not want them to be disappointed. :)

Short before a serious storm I had a luck to frame these dramatic lightrays from 2100m high in the Alps.
Wonderful historic island off the coast of South Carolina that is quickly being devoured by fancy, expensive golf courses and development. Half the island is still like stepping back in time, but with scrubby lots selling for $250,000 that won't last.

I've not been away from my dogs for a very long time, but I left them home for a brief time this weekend to visit family and they were fine, but I wanted to try and show how dogs may feel. I used light shining through blinds to create the shadow.
This is a older photo of an amazing display of light during Hurricane Matthew in 2016. The conditions were crazy that day so most of it was spent driving up and down the parkway with some stops for brief hikes. The late afternoon drive some amazing opportunities. The light rays started as subtle and spread out and then transitioned to defined clusters and the show ended with this last cluster of rays breaking through the storm clouds.

Taken this past April. Despite the fact that I sometimes feel overwhelmed over how many images I have backed up that are waiting to be edited, I quite like going back through my files and re-visiting images that I loved and have yet to work on. It helps me to re-live that day/moment all over again, and see everything with a fresh view.

I watched 'Blade Runner' and afterwards though about processing one of old shot from abandoned boiler house :)
