Made a 15km hike at national park Veluwezoom last weekend to find some nice places for fall photography.
When the sun came out of the clouds and the fog was still present, the rays of light appeared.
I wish you all a great day!

I especially love this one... I took it yesterday.

One I completely overlooked at the time, I really love how there is just a small slither of light on the tree.
The haze is the results of many forest fires in Alaska. The smoke creates an etherial quality to the landscape and make the slanted sun rays visible.
At an aspect ratio of 4:1 this monster is a little wider than I would normally crop. But with the crepuscular clouds fanning out in a perfect semi-circle infront of me, who am I to spoil one of natures special light shows

at the end of another day visiting three of the top Neolithic sites on Orkney. The sun came down on the mountains with stunning light. what more can you have to end off a great days holiday.
The pass from Uig was almost impassable. But after digging the camper van out of the snow several times we finally got to the Quiraing. And with snow showers and sunlight, the conditions were perfect.

Yes, I've posted this one several times, with various crops, edits, you name it. I've had the hardest time processing this one because the light was so difficult. This screams for a GND filter but I don't have one so I've been using the one in Lightroom and adjusting the temperature, clarity, contrast, everything to try to get it to look the way I saw it. I think I've finally gotten it right. Then again, I've said that before…. It was the most dramatic dawn I've ever seen so it deserves to be worked on. All comments welcome, especially critiques and suggestions for improvement!
