These light rays were barely visible in the colour photo. I liked the dramatic effect of the b/w conversion.
Photomontage réalisé avec deux photos que j'avais déjà prises : le paysage est à Harrington et le cheval a été photographié à St-Amable, les deux en plein jour. L'assemblage et la conversion en photo de nuit ont été réalisés dans Photoshop.
Nathan, Marcus and Lauren were gracious enough to "model" for us. It made for some outstanding images from everyone there.
This is capture taken 9 years ago and it features the steeple of the church that I attend.
I added several filters and effects to create this artistic rendering.
God bless one and all...
Exploring the Wental conservation area on this foggy morning in early autumn. When I was looking for some heather and rock formations, this scene started to unfold in front of my eyes. While it was not an easy task to set up a good composition with the two pine trees, I think it was worth the effort.

Had to stop on my way back down from the upper falls. Crazy exposure settings needed to shoot this handheld. Mid day light too which you’re never suppose to shoot in : )
The first full day of my Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) visit with family & friends.
After working the BMR Trail Maintenance event, my sister asked if I'd like to go visit Ricketts Glen (of course I said, "Yes"). We hiked down from the Lake Rose parking lot and visited Mohawk, Oneida and Cayuga Falls.

When I entered the sacred lair, I beheld the most incredible beauty I had ever seen. Even though there was light, the space was filled with a thick darkness and loneliness. Her look was majestic, but behind it was something else, a furious rage. ... Oh how I wish I could help you, my evil princess.

There was a lot of spray from the Chase Creek Falls and I noticed the water droplets catching a couple of late day sunbeams, Chase, BC coming though a tree at the top of the cliff.

FInally an edit I am happy with, shot this last year, but wasn't happy with the previous edits, done something different this time and happy with it.
Another from Loch Hourn. I went for the morning sunrise that was poor to none existent. I found a track up the old forestry road and went for a walk, the dogs were in their element. Then through the gaps in the trees I could see spectacular light all over the Knoydart Peninsula (dark bit on the right)
Scampering around like a puppy dog I found a mound and a clearing, phew! I stood clicking away for about 20 minutes.

I find the life cycle of tree leaves interesting. Green, orange, yellow or brown, they adopt a specific color coding at each steps of their lives. At this stage of the cycle, they give their last breath and prepare to reborn. The sunlight is here to bring some hope in this dark tableau of Nature.
A theatre, aptly named due to the mosquitos in this abandoned place in an asylum complex. Photogenic decay.
Another large Italian 6 day tour. Eventful to say the least.
