One of my last photos on my last trip to Yosemite...One of my top photos from my 17 days there.
Will be going back soon!
I started my morning walk with my dog and took my camera with me to photograph some fog impressions. The fog was really thick because it had rained all week. Suddenly the sun broke through the trees and melted the fog. This created some fantastic light rays which i managed to snap here. This made my day and became my favourite image of the entire week. So in fall, always carry your camera with you whereever you go ;-)
The cloud cover opened to allow a wide beam of light to shine downwards.

As we were about to leave Valley of Fire State Park for the day we turned the corner and saw this awesome view. The moon was rising, the sun was setting and there was some awesome light rays streaking across the sky. A unique ending to a great day in a very unique place.

A esta fotografía la queria titular:
"Buscando desesperadamente a rroel 58"
A tu salud amigo Leonés.
Still life with crystal prism, sunlight, and metal grids in soft box. Strobist info: two studio lights on stands as fill light, with window light coming in from the right.
No highlights were blown with this RAW shot, despite the look.
These light rays were barely visible in the colour photo. I liked the dramatic effect of the b/w conversion.

This is a new edit of an image I posted some years back. But now, with improved tools, I took the opportunity to fix something I really didn't like about it.
Had to stop on my way back down from the upper falls. Crazy exposure settings needed to shoot this handheld. Mid day light too which you’re never suppose to shoot in : )
