This was part of a local photography club Meetup shoot. The small mining town we went to had a ton of character including some streetlights with the city mane on it. Sammi was shooting with another photographer and I stole this shot while they were in shooting.

The art deco finial of a light tower pole stands out against the sky in Altoona, PA. The light pole and several others like it were built at Altoona by the Pennsylvania Railroad for use in their exhibit at the 1939-40 World's Fair, which were later repurposed to light the Altoona yards. In the background are Norfolk Southern's Juniata Shops, along with a deadline of locomotives awaiting rebuilding.
