sunrise at Relay For Life.

i'd been awake over 24 hours.

i'm surprised i was coherent enough to take pictures.

I found that our hometown during the stay, Morgan Av. could change looks from one street to another.

 

One second you could be walking in the "hip" neighbourhood where the folky people with wild beards and tight jeans ruled, and the next you were in a street like this one which has this kind of "desert-gangsterhood-look" to it. :)

A stack of tires around a 5 meter light pole. How did that happen?

i like the contrast between the light pole and the tree here...

Light pole across the street

This is how California lightpoles look these days. The light shoots directly up from the pole and bounces off the deflector. Nice!
