I was surprised to see this owl in this residential area. The nearest rural area is about two miles from here.

the sky sure was blue yesterday.

I found that our hometown during the stay, Morgan Av. could change looks from one street to another.

One second you could be walking in the "hip" neighbourhood where the folky people with wild beards and tight jeans ruled, and the next you were in a street like this one which has this kind of "desert-gangsterhood-look" to it. :)

This is how California lightpoles look these days. The light shoots directly up from the pole and bounces off the deflector. Nice!
